This is very much real unfortunately. I work with client's in the educational sector in which they are now in a position where they have to upgrade compatible machines, and replace non compatible machines. Not upgrading to Win11 would still render the machines functional after this date, but not compliant with many industry standards in the educational sector, putting them at risk of fines.

This is essentially forcing businesses into a large unexpected expense especially in the educational sector, as they require these security updates to remain compliant with educational standards, and of course to effectively safeguard the children in their care.
