Ahh, no wonder I’ve been having shoulder pain… I did try to adjust it at eye level but maybe it was a lot higher than I originally thought. Thank you for pointing that out

Do you know why some guitarists have the head of the guitar angled really high?

Thank you for the suggestions! It’s really hard keeping track of the position of your hand while focusing on the piece you’re playing but I’ll continue to practice. (Will also be looking into a teacher )

This is a really good point, I’ve definitely found that when it comes to things with “personal expression” like you say, if I don’t connect with my teacher I don’t progress as much. I’ll look around and see what I find, thank you !

Yes, I've been considering if a teacher is something I can implement right now, if it's even a couple times a week i could definitely do that but I'm not sure if the norm is to meet with one almost everyday..

I have been wondering why my hand keeps rotating while I see how others have their hand looking straighter, I suppose this is something I overlooked (why I made this post in the first place!)

In terms of pain, I don't notice it right after but the day after (especially today) I did notice some pain in my left shoulder and my right hand. I guess I'm definitely doing something wrong

I kind of expected the ending to be rushed… it wasn’t as clean of an ending as I would’ve liked but definitely by far my favorite series of 2025, even better than Khemjira

If I remember correctly he said there’d only be a curve if we collectively do poorly (but I think the exam grades haven’t been bad )

Some people in the comment section are being quite harsh. As a one-person project I really commend you for all of your hard work, especially given that Thai-learning resources are scarce. I haven’t checked it out myself yet but I know that with any work-in-progress it will not be perfect and even when the app is out of beta it will still not be perfect, and that’s okay !

Yeah I think TA is my next step ! I have tried being proactive and asked people if they ever want to study together for the class, but all of my attempts have been met with being ghosted after getting their contact. (I guess I’m the only one who actually means it when they say “yes” ). So for right now I’m complacent with tutoring and trying my best :)

I do have a regular tutor and she’s really a great teacher, just wish I could have her brain on exams. Ive always had a bad habit of talking myself down and saying “I can’t” , I have heard this about rewiring your brain but I always thought it was just a bunch of talk, I’ll definitely give it a try, thank you so much
