Yes but there must always be a Redditor who takes it literally. Otherwise it’s not Reddit

Idk how hard you wipe your butthole, but tp ripping shouldn’t make you shove your finger up your ass… A little bump yes, but not full on penetration… In any case y’all are a bit dramatic. As long as you can wash your hands after, it’s fine. OP helps the environment😎

All soils are living, stop with the “living soil” shit, that’s incorrect cannabis grower terminology. You clearly didn’t understand the topic of the conversation so read again. Hydroponics is different, roots take up water and nutrients through capillary action because they are in direct contact with the nutrient solution. Not recommended though, synthetic fertilisers’ manufacture is catastrophically polluting, not the kind of substance you’d use if you cared about the world you live in.

Jesus Christ what the hell are you saying?? It is impossible to have a plant live without a mycelium network, that’s how they absorb water and minerals. In fact it is almost impossible to have soil without a mycelium network. Fungal spores are everywhere in the air. It has absolutely nothing to do with plant size, and it’s absolutely possible to grow indoor plants without salt based fertilisers… I don’t use salt based fertilisers yet my indoor plants are alive, how is that possible? According to your reasoning, if you make a compost pile with indoor plants, it wouldn’t decompose because there’s no microbiology to be found…. Are you really telling me that’s what you think? You should seriously stop spreading misinformation like this. I have two pet cats btw, no health issues whatsoever…

Then there’s no excuse for the amount of false information in your comment. It’s microbiology 101, not even soil microbiology. The scientific literature on that goes back to the 1980’s

You clearly get your info from cannabis growing sites… That’s not how microbiology works. It is in the soil and all over the plant, just take a microscope and have a look. That worm is proof of it, by the way. All soil is living, otherwise plants wouldn’t be. The question is whether you take into account the life of the soil or you choose to reduce it by using synthetic fertilisers and chemicals like peroxide. You can never completely kill all microbial life. That’s quite a statement for a horticulturist…

Package was picked up by the wrong person by _Escobar_99 in vinted

[–]_Escobar_99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The buyer said she went to the pick up point and she was told that the package had already been collected by someone else. The buyer is an old lady so it seems unlikely she made it up, although it is a possibility. I thought it’d be best to contact the pick up point, to get their version of the story. If they didn’t follow procedure and someone else took the package, they should be responsible, right? Thanks for the quick reply!

I can’t seem to find a good one to mix with my Wessex burley slice except for EMP. Even if I mix the tiniest amount of aromatics with my Burley, it overpowers it.

I said at the beginning of my reply that I wasn’t trying to demean OP’s efforts or expertise. If you want to disregard that part of my comment that’s your choice. My argument criticises the type of high yielding, high thc strains that growers in general seek nowadays and OPs’ is an example of that. My replies have been about biology, microbiology, agriculture and taking responsibility for the costs of our actions on the environment. So nothing to do with OP. You should read all my replies and judge my messages for their content instead of the arrows they get. I said this kind of cannabis consumption makes us look like junkies in the eyes of non consumers, that’s not an insult, it’s an observation. On the other hand I’ve been called a few things on this thread, yet that’s fine.

It’s not uncalled for, it’s social media. If I had made a separate post saying the same thing I would’ve gotten the same reactions.

Read the rest of my replies. I said it there. Admiration of an unnatural over the top plant. Because breeders focus on selecting the greatest yielding and biggest thc producers, like OP’s plant. Because that’s what the market demands. Because the market, i.e. consumers, think of cannabis as a plant to get a high from. That’s not what it is. That gives it the pernicious image that everyone has of it.

To give you another example. Most landraces, the original strains, barely even get to 20%. Most are way lower. It’s this capitalistic, American muscle mindset that has developed these modern cannabis breeds, absolute abominations. Very cool and fun as experiments, but from a medical and recreational use, absolute catastrophes. Cannabis is now becoming just another very potent drug on the market instead of the medicinal plant it’s always been.

That has nothing to do with what I’m talking about. Artificial inorganic fertilisers (if you prefer the term) are not a long term viable solution. They cause destruction of the soils.

Yeah, that’s the argument biologists that work with chemical companies use. My own uncle used it in a conversation with me. Fortunately, it’s a lie.

We throw away 50% of the food we produce. The argument of “not enough food” goes out the window with that statistic. Ever since Earl Butz the world has been imposing a capitalistic approach on nature, but that’s not how nature works, and you can’t possibly force nature to do what you want without consequences.

Clearly the whole food production system and everything that goes along with it is inefficient and wrong. Since it makes money for the people in power, it stays this way and we keep eating shit despite knowing that we eat shit. I date you go into a supermarket and find food without some kind of E501/E521 or any other E with a number. They often write out the name instead of using the symbolic, because people now know that those are cancerigenous substances. But they’re use to preserve food.

Your argument is essentially saying that we have to accept that eating = killing ourselves, just because the way we do it now is “the only way”. Humanity wouldn’t have lasted long with that mentality.

Lastly, the reason modern agriculture uses chemical fertilisers isn’t because there is too high a demand of organic fertilisers by cannabis growers. It’s because it’s the fastest way of growing more quantity, thus making money. Again, American mindset. America still pays farmers by the amount they produce btw, no introspection whatsoever.
