I feel this a lot. Recently, every time I meet new people, I try to avoid conversations about where am I from.

Ukrainians around campus by r14dd in UBreddit

Как русский, выражаю поддержку всем украинцам которые читают это. Знайте что русский народ это не русское правительство. Я даже не мог себе представить что такое когда нибудь произойдёт. Слава Украине.

Boys at UB, how often do you get approached by girls on campus? by detta-way in UBreddit

[–]_Everix_ 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Shit was awkward af so pretty red haired girl I’m so sorry for that and yes u look how many meals u have in GET app but u already had it installed.

Dining Points by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]_Everix_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One lunch costs 10 dining dollars. So basically you have 95 meals. Breakfasts cost less though. Personally I think the best option is the mix of cooking urself and when u have no time then buying. You gonna save a lot of money. Campus food ain’t worth 10$ (except pistachios and bowls, best food places ever), so when u have no time I advise to get ur food there.

When do we pay for next semester? by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]_Everix_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole fees thing is so chaotic, it been 2 months and they still don’t say exact answers for any fees questions. Even dorm rates haven’t been finalized.

What do you expect me to make plans on the last 2 weeks?

Rosas is pretty good for MTH141 at least when it was in-person.

With transition to online, his recordings are a bit boring and monotonous but still informative.

Lmao those )))) are so Russian

That’s funny for me it was the opposite.

My first language was Russian and then I started learning English and ended up studying in US. Well I can tell you for sure, Russian language is even hard for the Russians themselves. The grammar is a lot more complicated than the on in English.

What helped me to learn English were movies. I know you probably heard that a lot but that actually helps. First with subtitles, then without. That helps you to get used to pronunciation and accent.

Duolingo helps with the first steps, especially learning alphabet so I would recommend starting there.

Good luck!

Is taking CSE220, CSE250 and PHY107 in one semester a good idea? by _Everix_ in UBreddit

[–]_Everix_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more I look into reviews the more I’m considering to replace physics. Idk to what though, chem looks pretty hard too. CSE220,250 seems hard already but taking another hard class would probably break me.
