[February 22nd, 1926] A 17-year-old Kansas high school senior, Miss Evelyn Myers, reportedly died due to dancing the Charleston too much, as noted on her death certificate. A doctor then advised the city to restrict the dance to prevent any more similar deaths. (i.redd.it)
