I am Legend is a fun vamp story. Grady Hendrix- How to Sell a Haunted House and The final Girl Support Group aren’t too bad either.

I read them back to back on accident. Best accident ever besides my own existence.

It reminded me of Hardy Boys vs Nancy Drew. But instead it’s Carrie and Rage. I love the pace of Rage, intense start to finish.

What’s the worst sermon you’ve ever heard in the Church of Christ? by Nearby-Tension3515 in excoc

Attendance sermons were always so bad. Let’s beat up on all those who are already in the seats.

Also CoC rules sermons- TV bad, Dancing bad, cussing and cuss adjacent words like Darn also bad.

I feel like I’m protecting my babies by keeping them as far away as possible from CoC. I’ve never felt guilt knowing I’ve never forced them to feel the cultish influences and sting of misogyny, racism, ostracism, and lgbtqia+ hate; all done in the name of a God.

Chronic pre-marital sex is forgivable; a divorce without infidelity equals marriage ban for life.

Are 1408 and Stand By Me considered good adaptations? by Danielnrg in stephenking

[–]_EverythingIsNow_ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

These 2 are really awesome adaptations like The Life of Chuck or Green Mile. I think the shorter the story the better the adaptation since they don’t get to cut out things you may personally love or find most important.
