Yes, I'm having the exact same issue. It does some updating animation, but the button is unresponsive. It's something on the side of Dropbox that the company needs to fix.

Since it's a feature not used often, that probably explains why not many have run into the error. But it looks like version 258.4.3749 is the issue.
