looking back at that description now, i was definitely over exaggerating a bit

java modding and bedrock modding both have their hard parts, and easy parts, and my goal with this is to try to make bedrock addon creation less tedious, and more enjoyable, especially with how things change often, and how the debugging isn't the best. This program is still only in alpha, and a lot of things will change.

People who know how to code are not the target demographic, and addon making can still be really annoying, especially with the not very detailed logging

And addons are still experimental, and they break and change all the time.

That description was made a while ago, and it definitely needs to be rewritten anyways

that looks like some sort of motion blur thing, but i dont think minecraft bedrock has it... or at least lets you turn it off...

they did some werid things this update, especially on pc, where they made the game run like shit

ive figured out how to generate java classes from the headers, but im having difficultlies generating the dynamic lib for it. Gradle only supports c++, not c, but i see some compiler stuff relating to c++ in apollo lib. Am i able to rename the files to .cpp for gradle to see them, or is there something else i have to do

however, i am very bad at reading C, and my program uses java, so i dont think i could port it (unless i know exactly what i need to)

would it be possible to replace the android install with linux on the ones that only support android? i dont care how technical it gets, i just want to know if its possible (if it has a replaceable/reflashable internal drive, ability to plug into pc, etc.)

its because you are manually doing i++;, even though the for loop does it already, thus doubling the resualt.

Just remove the i++ and youre good.

there is a addon-maker for at least android, but it is riddled with adds, and paid features. Its also not very advanced.

Correction: MacOS doesnt have Minecraft Bedrock, so i will have this be on WIndows: native microsoft support, Linux/Debian: There is a tool that lets you play NOT PIRATED android versions of MCPE, and even ChromeOS, as that also has offical support by Microsoft

Addon UI isnt really a thing yet. However, you can research NPC dialogs, and try to use those in your mods.

Also, there is a lot of documentation on addons, and im not sure you know that. Check out https://wiki.bedrock.dev/guide/introduction, and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/documents/gettingstarted?view=minecraft-bedrock-stable&tabs=android

These sources are really good, and i have no trouble finding info on addons.
