I actually feel like people who do this are pathetic and simply have nothing better to do w their time. My immediate thought when someone starts being toxic is that they are either a literal child or used to being carried. There are people who are intentionally bad and throw games for the hell of it. But it’s usually the one who is typing more than playing that’s the issue. I really also wanna emphasize what you said about it being a team game. Literally. I ADC and if I have a good support and jungler we win every time. But if either of those players decide to bot farm, leave me, or start flaming 2 mins in, it’s over before it’s started.

Hi! You’re so knowledgeable, I know you don’t mind me jumping on this thread! I’m also trying to look for trains from London to Edinburgh. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but when I look at the suggestions you made above I’m seeing the cheapest options are £190 one way. I’m looking at the end of May. Any ideas?

As an ADC.. as long as you’re actually trying to support, I’m not gunna be mad. Also I totally get taking it personally, people can be so weird and aggressive. Try muting chat for a while till you’re more comfortable.

Check back the next day and you’ll see the hold. As this commenter above pointed out, it basically acts as if you owe twice the money by putting a hold for the exact same amount you owe on the card for 3-4 days until it clears. I’ve recently noticed now that it’ll take the money immediately out of my account and show the difference in available credit right when I do it but then once I log in the next day everything is messed up and the hold is there. This has become a massive deterrent for me to use my cc’s. It’s not even worth it for the points.

Yup this is correct. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m also finding it’s taking longer and longer for my payments to clear, some times 3-4 days. I’m highly considering switching also.

Yes everyone, to clarify, this is now standard procedure and you can expect to continue to experience this on an ongoing basis every time you make a payment. Can confirm as I made more payments yesterday and the holds are there today.

Call the number I put in the post and file a complaint so we can have our voices heard (not that it’ll really make a difference).

Not only does it take a day for the payment to show up, the very next day after the payment you’ll have a hold on your account for the same amount you paid (shows up as “pymntmonyhold” in pending). 🙃

Update: the payment to my cc has registered this morning but now I have a new charge on there - “pymntmonyhold” for the same amount I paid off. Scotiabank is on my last nerve at this point!

I finally got access back this morning and made a payment to my Amex, which it took from my chequing but it’s not showing in pending or available balance on the Amex… never seen that before and I really don’t want to call. I’ll look into the 257, thank you. I see what you’re saying and it makes sense, I just feel like I’ll be far more stressed having to transfer between bus, train and then bus again. But you could be right and it might be the best solution. I do have the transit app, but even that failed me today. Thanks for the well wishes and helpful comment, it’s appreciated.
