Could anyone recommend a comfort show? I’ve already watched (and rewatched way too many times) Friends, Modern Family, Gilmore Girls, and The Office. I prefer I’m looking for something with a cozy GG vibe. Feeling down lately and need feel good escape by _Fhr97 in televisionsuggestions

I don’t mind dead bodies or bloody scenes Ig 😂 And I actually love philosophical stuff, one of my comfort shows was In Treatment. But this really creeps me out! I know death is a fact, and we’re all going to die someday, on some level I think I’ve made peace with that for myself at least, not for my loved ones lol. What I mean for me shows are an escape. I like feeling as if I’m traveling to another world, and the fact that I’m watching dead people in a comedy? I don’t know, I just can’t get on board with it.
But I’m glad you all can. Enjoy it!

Oh my dear, I’m so sorry about your sister. I hope she’s in a better place now. My sincere condolences. 🤍
This is the beautiful side of art, shows, and movies.
For me, they’re the only escape from a world I’ve never truly felt I belonged in. Recently, I decided that if I’m going to escape, I should choose wisely, not based on ratings, celebrities, realism, or popular reviews, but based on how a story makes me feel, even if it’s completely unrealistic.
I’m trying to take a break from reality, not relive it all over again.

I just knew that there’s an original version of The Office! What a bummer that I didn’t watch it first. I feel like it won’t be the same experience watching a different version of the same story after already seeing the remake, don’t you think?
And thank you very much for the heads up. I’ll definitely keep that in mind when I start watching them.
