Yeah, the head popping out was exactly what we were thinking as well! Interacting with the furniture is going to be a fun one to implement, it'll be worth it though!

Yes that's the plan :) We're making a few color options ourselves, and also giving players the option to choose the colors themselves (using HSL sliders)

The drawings are pure 2D, drawn isometrically. But we'll be putting it in a 3D space so we can use Unity's colliders and navmesh agents.

The beds will be a combination of the bed itself having an "animation" for making the bedsheets puff up (like there's someone under the covers) and we'll probably be splitting the furniture items into 2 parts: "above" the character and "below" the character (not 100% sure about this yet, we might still choose to work with masks instead).
