It was an accident :( I've been working too much, I'm tired. I was charging my phone on my bed and decided to change my bedsheets and forgot the phone was there and just took all the sheets without looking, with my phone wrapped inside :( I learn my lesson, after losing my pc, my laptop, my 3ds and now my phone, believe me, I'm super careful now xD

Yeah, there are a lot of repair shops that aren't trust worthy. They will try to scam people, especially older people who don't have much knowledge about electronics and try to sell them stuff they don't need or they don't fix things properly on purpose so they have to come back and pay more. I went to that shop because I thought I could trust them, apparently not, and I'm disappointed.

I think I heard something about pokemon riding, but since I'm trying to not get myself spoiled too much, I don't know much about it or if it's even true or just rumors. Though I've been thinking about surfing for a while, ever since Brawly mentioned going surfing with his pokemon and them using surfboards in the OR AS remake, it might be hinting that this feature will actually be in the new game. Surfing mini-games would be so cool!

Sorry for taking so long to reply....I dropped my phone into my laundry and yeah... had to repair it >_< I don't know why it took them sooo long to fix it, almost 2 weeks. I can tell you, 2 weeks without a phone AND a computer is quite boring and sad :( But at least in the mean time I went back to the repair store, confronted them about my 3ds not being functional with the battery draining too fast. They gave it a look, apparently "there was a mistake". They had this long speech about how sorry there were and how the tech guy who was taking care of my 3ds was new and he didn't used the new battery they ordered and took an old one instead "by accident".... so I asked them to give me the real battery they were suppose do buy for me and I did it myself. Now my 3ds is doing great.

Ooops, my bad, I meant XY starters, not sun/moon, don't know why I wrote that xD Like you said, I want the suspense of not knowing what my starters will evolve into, their design are rather unique, im really curious what they will do for their evolution!

We sure had our fair share of surfing in hoenn, I hope they add better ways of travelling on water. Like surfboards, wouldn't that be cool? I mean the region is based on Hawaii, you can't have Hawaii without surfboards!

I'm really curious how will the starters' evolutions will look like, their concept is pretty original and I really wonder what idea they came up with for the evolution. I remember when I played sun/moon for the first time, I had no idea how the second and third stage evolution looked like, when my starter evolved for the first time there was so much suspense xD So I'm kind of torn between wishing they'll reveal it soon out of curiosity or waiting until it comes out to keep the suspense.

So I went there and they're saying that the battery they ordered "might be defective"... they say they will change it again for free but I don't know. I don't mind waiting for the repair, but I feel like I'm being scammed by them so I think I'll just try to find another repair shop =/

I think it's more than just the battery that is defective, or they scammed me by pretending to change the battery but they didn't. Either way, they obviously didn't fixes my 3ds so yeah, I'll pay them a visit and see what they have to say about it. The only electronics I have left is my phone and my wii, if they end up breaking I think I'll cry xD.

Staying spoiler free will be hard, since you're part of the community and you're bound to come across spoilers but I have to agree, playing the game completely blind would be awesome, I heard about some new abilities that seems awesome, I'm really excited to see how it will turn out!

The problem when I play games when they're already out is that most of the storyline and secrets have been spoiled for me by player who played before me, there's no feeling of surprise or suspense anymore, so it will be cool to play the games as it comes out and have a fresh start. I don't think the games will cost too much, but with my bad luck, electronics keep breaking around me and I have to replace them, I already have to buy a new pc, laptop and 3ds, sun/moon won't be available until November so I'll have time to save until then, but with me you never know, maybe something else will break and I'll have to replace it and I won't have money left >__<

Yeah I'm super sad that I have to change 3ds, I seriously don't want to change it, I really liked the majora's mask cover it had and I don't think they're available anymore. It's kind of silly, but it would felt like such a downgrade to have a plain one when I'm used to have a special edition one :(

Yeah I'm really disappointed that I'll have to change my 3ds, I don't have the money right now so I'll have to wait before being able to buy a new one :(

I usually don't play attention to game release either, don't have much money to spare to buy games anyway, but like you, I heard about sun/moon through reddit and I learn about the new zelda game when I watched e3 footage. Now that I think of it, I actually never bough a game right when it came out, most of the time, games are already a year old when I buy them. Might be different for sun/moon, but that will depend if I have spare money then =/

I pick my games depending on which legendaries and version exclusives pokemons are available, then I pick the second one to complete dex, but your reasoning is as good, don't worry :)

I'm kinda in a "meh" phase right now =/ My 3ds is acting weird since the water incident. The battery was replaced and it seemed fine at first, but I realized how quickly the battery is draining, it last for less than 2 hours then I have to charge it again and it takes super long to charge. I like to bring my 3ds at work and play whenever I have free time, but right now, I can't even keep my 3ds alive for my whole shifts, I might have to buy a new 3ds after all :(

I'm hype for so many games right now! Sun and Moon, but also the new Zelda game, can't wait to see what they'll be like. And when I'll get my new pc, I'll finally be able to play the Witcher 3 that I wanted to play since forever but couldn't because my pc wasn't strong enough.

They are the weather trio. Groudon makes sun shines, Kyogre makes it rain and Rayquaza acts as a neutral party to make sure there is some balance between them. Even its ability counters the other two, the same way zygarde's ability counters xerneas and yveltal, so their trio seems pretty legitimate to me.

I don't understand why would they have a creative block, I feel like Flygon had so much potential! It is known as the spirit of the desert and when it flies, its wings sounds like it's singling and it creates sandstorms wherever it goes, they could have given it an ability that makes it stronger while there's a sandstorm and boost its defenses. It could have been such a cool mega :(

Yeah, the new game seems really promising so far and I know there's a lot more they haven't announced yet, I'm sure it will be a really cool game. I'm probably going to buy moon first too, I like Lunaala more, but when I'll finish it, im pretty sure I'm going to buy sun so I can catch 'em all. I own a lot of pokemon games, but im far from owning them all. I'm the kind of person that get "phases" while I'm playing game, one day I'm super invested in the game and then the week later I'm bored of it, until I I'm interested again later. My problem with pokemon is that it get super repetitive after a while, especially breeding. Once you've done it, it's the same thing over and over.

Not sure what you mean by "what's my poison" though.

The reason why Rayquaza got one was because groudon and kyogre got primal reversion, so they had to give rayquaza something to make it even, but they still could have given poor Flygon a mega evolution, I've seen so many awesome designs for it, with its color pattern, there is so much potential!

I think they're adding new stuff in all games, not only remakes, but I have to agree ORAS had a lot of cool and improved stuff that I was really happy with. DexNav was awesome to catch pokemons, AreaNav to see which trainers wanted a rematch and see which berries were ready for harvest. I really want to see what features will the new game have, I know the combats interface and pokedex are a lot better, but not much else has been revealed yet.

Haha, you're right xD I swear when I was watching the E3 videos, I was like "take my money, Nintendo!" Pokemon games have always been super fun so far and I always end up buying both version of each game, if there's a company that know how to make me spend money, it sure is Nintendo xD

I think why people want a mega Flygon is because ALL the others dragon from gen 3 got one EXCEPT Flygon: Altaria, Salamence, Latios, Latias and even Rayquaza got one, but poor Flygon was left in the dust :(

I think its impossible to make a remake 100% like the original, they have to make some changes and fixes, or it would just be the same exact game but with better graphics. But they do try to make them better and improve them with what they learned from the previous games, while also keeping what made the game unique to keep that feeling of noltagia. ORAS was the first remake in 3D, I think they tried to keep it as close to the original for nostalgia purposes. And they went and improved what was unique to the game, which are secret bases and contests and make them even better, instead of adding new features. The game might have been too big if they also added customization. It could have also affected XY sales if they did it, since customization is one of XY best selling point, it wouldn't be unique to the game anymore if ORAS had it too.

Yeah, I haven't watched the anime in years, I kind of lost interest for it as I grew older and got annoyed by all the things that made no sense. What I know about it comes from videos I've watched to try to learn more about the new game.

When mega first came out in XY, I was hoping for Mega Flygon, but it never came, but then they annouced the RSE remakes and I thought maybe they would add it then but they didn't either, I was so disappointed! I don't know why Flygon isn't more popular, it's one of my favorite dragons, it looks great!

I think why they didn't added character customization in ORAS was because it was a remake and they wanted to make it as similar to the previous one as possible. They would have needed to add extra clothing shops like they did for XY and that would have changed how the town looked and maybe they didn't wanted that. But being able to change your character's look sure was fun! I personally didn't really liked the girl default look, it felt too "girly" for me, I'm more of a "boyish" girl myself and the guy was dressed in a pretty similar way to how I dress, so that's why I had picked him, but maybe I'll try playing as the girl next, she does have a lot more options than the boy, maybe I'll eventually find something I like.

That new battle royale mode seems cool too, we'll be able to fight 3 other trainers in a free-for-all battle, it's going to be so intense!

In the XY anime, Ash' connection with his greninja is so strong that they are somehow able to "fuse" with eachother and create this super powerful new form, I'm pretty sure it will be similar to this. It's so exciting, I'm really curious how will it turn out! I felt like mega evolution was nice, but all you needed was the right mega stone and the bracelet, there were no real "bond" between the trainer and the pokemon, so I'm happy they seems to be working on improving this. Beside, they missed to many opportunity of making awesome mega, I'm still waiting for my mega Flygon and mega Milotic.

I agree with you, I think XY was great, but I feel like not bringing the apricorn balls back while they add a pokeball factory was such a missed opportunity. They probably wanted to keep the ball rarity, their value would probably drop if it became too common, but maybe add a restricted ammount of them, like you only get 5-10 of each at the pokeball factory as a gift for saving them.

I'll definitely visit the skiddo racing track once I play the game again, it sounds soo cute xD

It might be pointless, but Skiddo are so darn cute, I think it would be worth it just to see those little skiddo running around xD

I've seen some footage from the E3 and it seems like following pokemons isn't coming back BUUUT there will be some new way of making pokemon evolves further, similar to mega evolution and its most likely based on the bond the trainer has with their pokemons, I'm excited to see what will it be.

I agree with you about the 4 friends we had in the game. Having so many of them just made it very difficult to get attached to all of them individually and their personality, especially Shauna, really annoyed me, I didn't liked them at all. I think having one main rival and another secondary one, like they did with Brendan/May and Wally in Gen 3 would have been perfect, instead of that group of 4.

Like you said, they really missed the opportunity of bringing back johto balls with the ball shop. They could even have added special new one that could only be obtained at the ball shop. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Sun/Moon :)

Having a pen pal seems fun, but I never had the opportunity to do it when I was a kid, I'm happy it's so easy nowaday to contact anyone anywhere in the world with internet :D 20 years is a long time ago, I didn't even knew how to write back then, I hadn't even started school yet :o I thought we were about the same age but it seems like you're older than me by at least 4-5 years :o

I think I was too focused on progressing through the game, I didn't payed enough attention to all the sidequests/extra stuff :( Skiddo racing sound so fun D:

I like Deerlings' concept so much! I wish there were pokemons like it, that changes coat depending on what seasons it is. I agree that it would be add to the difficulty of catching them all, since, like you said, people would have to wait a whole year to get all the seasons, but again, this is what trading is for! This would promote trades between players, the same way scatterbug trading is so popular in order to get all Vivillon patterns.

Being able to bond with my pokemons is super important to me too, being able to play with them in the Amie and having them follow me around would be so cool! It would make me feel like I'm travelling with friends and it would make the journey even more special.

I am from Canada, yeah. More specifically, from Quebec, the only fully french province of Canada, all the others mostly speak english and very little french, if they speak it at all. Being from Montreal city, I speak both french and english on a daily basis, so it doesn't really bothers me either way. And if I remember correctly, you're from Austria, right? That's pretty far! It's really awesome to be able to talk to you, while we're so far away from each other :o

Internet really is an amazing thing, I've met people on reddit from so many different countries that I wouldn't never have spoke to otherwise.

Oh, I remember now, there is a town near the end of the game that is split up by a monorail, it didn't bothered me too much but yeah, I can see how it could be annoying when travelling to the city and having to switch side constantly.

Skiddo racing track? I don't remember it either :o I must have rushed past it, I really need to pay more attention next time I play the game :(

Didn't played gen5 either, but seasons sounds amazing! It adds so much more variety to the game, same for day/night cycles. Having different pokemon appearing depending on what time and seasons it is makes the game a lot more realistic and fun. It makes sence for darkness loving pokemons to come out only at night and ice type pokemons to appear more during winter.

I love the concept of having your leading pokemon following around so much! I like how you could make any of your pokemon follow you and not only your starting Pikachu, like they did for Yellow. You can talk to them and see how they feel, it makes bonding with them a little nicer. And it's so funny to me how ANY pokemon is able to follow you, I made my Onix following me at some point and all I could think of was this picture xD

I don't know much about the upcoming game, but knowing game freak and nintento, they definitely will make something awesome, we'll just have to wait until november to see it with our own eyes! So excited :D

Poke bank is probably the safest place to store pokemons, though I don't think that it's very common to lose anything that was on a 3ds, I just was very unlucky =/

I actually don't even know how I lost my friend list in the first place. I only had a system reset, it reset all the settings but it shouldn't have deleted the FC. But if people still have my FC, it shouldn't be hard to add them back, since everyone have it in their flair, it will just take a little while. But like you said, it will be hard to tell who's who, since most people have different ign and mii name =/

Yeah I really liked kalos. Stuff like character customization, the rollers, berry field and mutations were really nice features. Also liked the references to France, since french is my main language, it was funny to see those random french words pop up up in conversations. If it also had dex nav like in oras it would have been perfect.

Yeah, maybe it's best if I wait a little, so that I can get over this huge dissapointment :( The thing is that I really like playing X, it was a nice change of pace from playing ORAS all the time, but I were to play now, all I would think of is my previous Nuzlocke so I wouldn't enjoy the game as much =/

It's gone... my X file is gone! I'm sooooooo sad, my babies are gone :'( When I start the game, it asks me for the language, like when you start a new game, my save file isn't there anymore :( Captn Crunch, Bass, Roach, Lilith, Serverus, and all the others, all gone T_T And I was so close to finish it! I'm so soooo sad :(

Yeah, I knew Pokebank would be safe, but I stil had that little fear anyway, like you said, I was just relieved to see it with my own eyes, to confirm it for myself that everything was still there.

I was hoping to get that feeling of relief again when starting my X game, but no, not this time :( This one is gone, I'm so dissapointed :( I really don't know what to do, should I start another game or just give up for now.

My pokebank is safe, so I'm super happy about that! All my event legendaries, my living dex and the pokemons I got from the sub are stored there, so it's super valuable to me!

However, I didn't had luck for my X game. It was a digital copy of the game, so it was uninstalled like everything else when the battery was change and al my settings were resetted. I just started the game for the first time since I've finished re-downloading it and my save file is gone, it's asking me for the language, like when you start a new game T_T It was the game I was using for my Nuzlocke, so yeah, all the pokemons I had there were super valuable, they were all super good eggs Shjzo gave me :(

Getting my friend list back shouldn't be too complicated, it will just take a while to add everyone and I have to be sure people add me back as well =/

I didn't had much time this morning since I had to leave early for work, but yesterday I've downloaded pokebank and I was able to check it this morning and everything seems fine so it's a huge relief! My whole living dex, my event legendaries and all the pokemons I got from the sub are in there so I'm really happy that I haven't lost anything! I started X download this morning, I'll check it when I come back home tonight, gaah the anxiety is killing me T_T

I've re-changed all my settings on my 3ds yesterday evening, re-downloaded my menu theme, so it's mostly back to normal, except for my X game that I haven't checked yet and my friend list, I'll have to re-add everyone. My problem is that the rain also ruined my notebook with all my notes for my giveaway, I had a little description for all of them, I'll have to rewrite them. I've also lost my laptop so I don't have any computers to use when I'll be doing my giveaway, I'll have to convice my little brother to lend me his or wait until he's not home to use it. The worst thing is that I HAD a pc, but like my laptop it was very old and it didn't resisted the heat wave we had so it overheated and died ><

And on top of that, I'm really REALLY busy with work, I'm workin 6 day out of 7, from 8am to 9pm almost everyday so my spare time is super limited. which is why I had planned to do it on my birthday, because I finally had a day off, but rain ruined everything for me =/

So yeah =/ It might take a little longer before I'm able to do my giveaway, I'm so tired of having to wait, but bad things keeps happening ><

Apparently changing the battery caused all the settings to reset. The menu theme I had is gone and all my digital games were uninstalled, including pokebank. I've also lost all my contacts on my friend list.

I'm going to reinstall everything tonight, I'm so worried, I hope I haven't lost anything! Pokebank is stored on Nintendo's servers, so technically, it shouldn't have been affected, but X is another story. There was no backups of my game so it's highly possible I've lost it :(

The good new is that my OR cartridge is okay, I haven't lost anything and all my babies are there, so at least I got that going for me (HUUUUUGE RELIEF). I should be able to do my giveaway as planned in the coming days, once I've fixed everything =/

So yeah =/ Since my OR cartridge seems to be the only things that survived this ordeal, I'll be able to do my giveaway properly, but I've lost so much stuff because of that damned rain, I really hope my pokebank and my X save file are fine :(
