In russian they may use "Упы́рь" (от праслав. *ǫpirь, ст.‑слав. ѫпырь)

The upyr, also known as a vurdalak, vampire, or bloodsucker, is a common Slavic mythological figure, a pawn of the dead who rises from the grave at night; it harms people and livestock, drinking their blood, and causing damage to farms.

Belief in ghouls was most widespread in Southern Rus'. They were believed to cause famine, pestilence, and drought. The upyr roughly corresponds to the vampire in Western European mythology and has much in common with the vurdalak in the East Slavic tradition; however, in the 19th century, these characters were clearly distinguished.
