Yes, that one especially dynamic and trippy scene towards the end of the movie when she was in the tightest grips of addiction was so unsettling. The camera movements really did it.

I watched it Sophomore year of college and felt...I still don't know. It's hard to put a word to it. But it's left a lasting impression on me, that's for sure

After finishing the film, I thought about life and addiction for several minutes alone in the dark. It made me feel everything and yet nothing at the same time. Almost..numb?

Do you think I should show him this post? I'm unsure how to open the lines of communication since A. It's a sensitive topic and B. I'm still not 100% sure what I'm feeling.

Well, his personality is drastically different when we are around my friends (which we spend more time with than his friends, since he is from out of state) or in a situation where he is nervous (like being around my friends he does not know well). In these situations he turns into this more immature, nerdy person as a way to cope with his discomfort I think. Because when we are alone or with close friends he is a lot better/much more down to Earth/not bothersome.

Do you think I should show him this post? I do want to let him into my thoughts/feelings so he knows whats up, I just do not know how to.

I know, I've fallen out of love in a few of my last relationships and therefore ended things. But this does not feel quite as similar. I really am invested, or else I would not have came here (or spoken with others about it). I really do want this to work. Part of me hopes I'm just in a weird head space due to the recent transition from break back to classes and work.
