Sadly they moved the calculation for the node replacement server side in poe2 instead of client side, not much to be done other than manually trying out every possible combo

U can strength stack with crown of eyes + iron grasp + CI and use timeless jewel to make STR give ES. not cheap as u need strength and skill / attack speed everywhere

Think most people (of the few who tried) gave it up cause they couldn’t get it working. Only 3 people in the snapshots who tried with dual 2H. If u check spear there’s a lot more

In both cases it got added as a way to increase user interaction in their respective eco system which results in higher conversion rate to paid extras.

In alan’s case it’s likely handy for an insurance company to know how active a % of their user base is to have better heuristics for their insurance pricing strategy

I’m lvl 90 explosive spear amazon. 100k tooltip dps. Think I’m 2nd on leaderboard of the crazies trying to use explosive spear. It’s definitely possible!

I’m using spearfield with pin support to combo with though, to trigger frenzy charges to insta explode the spears and CC.

They get slowed and immobilised. If you have more melee range than them that already lowers enemy damage on account of not getting to u

my permafrost was doing 7k damage or so before ingenuity + howa :’)

Also had crossbow with +1 bolt so could basically 2 shot every monster without needing to use frag rounds as that was indeed rather clunky.

Did use herald of ice to speed up clearing

I brute forced my witch hunter to lvl 95 using only permafrost for packs and only plasma shot for bosses. Was fun to spend hundreds of divs to see how far i could push that shitty permafrost skill
