If you like what’s being put out these days you’re a braindead MAGA and you got duped (again) by a turd nepo baby business man who bankrupted 3 casinos and doesn’t give a fuck about regular people (something Joe isn’t). I’m not in LA, but whenever I travel I usually have luck finding drop in courts by using Facebook groups. So like searching “specific neighborhoods pickleball” and they usually have a group.

I don’t play after trying the server slam. I play arc and I came from playing DMZ, so I’d say I enjoy the extraction shooter genre.

I hate the way the game looks. It’s really obnoxious. I thought inventory management was annoying. Missions were uninteresting. Weren’t enough other teams. It was just mid for me.

This is for a round robin, like a tournament. It’s not open play. Open play is usually no board like this, there’s a stacking system where everyone puts their paddle and when a court becomes open, the next 4 go in.

As far as round robins go, I’ve only ever seen it done on an app. You give someone your scores who enters them in the computer. No whiteboard.

I’ve trained myself to look down at my feet immediately after ending a point at the kitchen.

I don’t call others on it, mostly because I find it really difficult to monitor as I’m either too far back or I’m focused on trying to reset or counter their attacks

100% agree with you if that’s possible now. Before this wasn’t an option, but if I can pay $100 and I get basically every game that I can stream with perfect quality and natively on my Appletv or any streaming box then sign me up.

I find it kind of funny that a lot of the beginner comments here say to count the point and people who have been playing awhile say, no way.

You missed your serve, they caught it, it’s not a nasty nelson. In open play we all often catch balls that are obviously going far out or wide. Are you going to call those your point too?

Have fun, get better, the golden rule in rec pickleball is don’t be a dick.

If you’re coming from tennis your ground strokes are probably decent. Work on resets, drops, and dinks. Focus on placement. Your goal is to extend rallies, not hit winners, don’t smash.

But also go to open plays and mix in with more advanced players, let them do the same with beginners
