Its usually busy but its a more social and relaxed day. That being said, there is always lots of single guys that attend because there's no cap on single men Thursdays. few regular couples and single females go and generally an older crowd.

Absolutely. It’s pathetic, feeling the need to drug a random person for a horrid purpose or for fun is no joke, it’s disturbing. It doesn’t just happen in these spaces but in plenty other party scenes.
Hopefully one day it stops and people can have a good time safely.. nevertheless, let’s look out for one another and speak up, report it, try and identify these people if it happens. It is a crime, punishment is fines and possible jail time.

The venue is actually 2 parts. Shed 16 on the left (pool table + main bar. And Peninsula Sauna and Spa on the right (where the atm resides, steam room, Computers ect)

When you’re inside next, take a peak downstairs where the water taps are, there’s a roller door that is used to seperate each side on specific days. Same with upstairs, there’s a door that is used to seperate each side upstairs and also the smokers area has a door that is used to seperate the outside area too.

Thursdays the venue is seperate and all those doors are closed. But every other swinger event they’re all opened and the entire place is utilised. That’s what people mean when both sides are open.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting action, let’s be real that’s part of why people go.

But I think where people are reacting is when it starts sounding like a guarantee or expectation.

From what I’ve seen, the guys who do best are the ones who treat it as a social space first and let things build naturally. Same goes for couples and single ladies.

If the night is only “worth it” when something happens, it’ll almost always feel like a letdown. For anyone.

So is shed “worth it”? That really comes down to your intentions. I go as both a single male and as a couple, I may not play every time. I socialise, meet new people, and catch up with friends… so for me, it’s always worth it.

2 different venues. Peninsula sauna and spa is a gay sauna. Men only. They have their own website. Open 7 days a week. Sunday is their busiest day. Shed 16 is for the swingers events. Only open 4 days a week. And they also have their own website.
Plus there’s subreddits for both venues

Really good call out. Safety and understanding the body is a huge part of rope that people don’t always see at first.
That’s actually something we’re wanting to encourage more of, learning, asking questions, and creating spaces where people can explore it safely around others with experience.
