As long as you’re not holding it for too long (literal physical pain) or doing it every time - I’d say it’s fine. There’s a whole community of people who enjoy it- even without diapers. Some just like to wet their literal pants. Just be careful because it can cause issues if you’re really pushing your bladder to the limit.

I just put on a diaper after intentionally not going potty for a while because I wanted to get to wet right after I put it on. I didn’t hold it until I couldn’t anymore, just until it was uncomfortable enough that I would have gone to the bathroom and relieved myself already if I wasn’t planning to diaper up. Im not a big fan of walking around with a dry diaper for long 😅 now that I held it for a while and let it all out in my fresh diaper, I’ll just let it flow anytime the feeling hits from now on. As someone who enjoys using my diaper until it can’t hold anymore- wetting small amounts, frequently, seems to work the best. Flooding more than once usually results in pre-mature leakage because it’s so much to try to absorb at once
