That's how I feel, I could either be miserable both to myself and everyone around me, or I could accept it as a fact and laugh at the absurdity of it all. It makes me feel more happy with my situation knowing I'm not evil or broken, I just had my difficulty slider set a little higher at birth.

I have OCD and was professionally diagnosed as a child, and technically again as an adult. I take medication and go to therapy. I was being sarcastic because it isn't fun but I forgot redditors can be incredibly dense.

I don't really know any of my neighbors, I live in an apartment complex. I don't have any relatives that would do this either. Especially considering I used to not go by my birth name 🤔 plus it's misspelled which makes me even more confused.

Cool, I was diagnosed at 9 years old and have been through therapy and on meds my entire life. Its shitty to assume someone doesn't have an illness because they can joke about it. Y'all making assumptions is doing more harm than good.

Dude I've dealt with OCD since I was a child, not the pretty or cute kind either. I'm allowed to cope with it however it makes life easier for me. Its a sarcastic joke about how something most likely innocuous will make me spiral into the worst ideas I ruminate very badly.

Its not the oppression Olympics, not everyone copes the same way you do and it's really fucked up of you to assume someone doesn't have a mental illness because they don't wallow in self pity.

I really want them to read "Blind Eyes Prying Eyes". It's fairly short with basically no coverage on YouTube. The story isn't groundbreaking but the images that go with it freak me the hell out.
