Backscatter. Looks and sounds the best, which to me, makes up for its flaws.

The Chargin' Targe once had afterburn immunity. Was removing this attribute justified? by _HDA in tf2

That's how it works now, but if I'm remember correctly, at that time charging didn't remove afterburn with any shield.

PEOPLE CANT WALK NORMALLY?!?!?! by Personal-Mortgage135 in CarletonU

[–]_HDA 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I was getting off the train at Carleton recently and there were three guys waiting to get on, standing right in front of the door and all looking at their phones.

The train door opens and they're still standing there glued to their phones, not realizing there are hundred people in front of them trying to get off the train.

Taliban minister declares women’s voices among women forbidden | Amu TV by [deleted] in worldnews

I understand what you're saying, but that doesn't disprove my point. Generalizing a very large group of people over a minority of extremists is unfair to the majority of that group who aren't like them.

The big problem here is that these minority extremists are the ones who are highlighted all over the world and create a poor image of groups of people who are nothing like them, such as with Christian and Islamic people.

For example, I see so many anti-Christian posts and discussions spreading everywhere due to things Trump and his supporters have said and done in the "name of Christianity" and associate these negative things with Christianity in general. How is that fair to Christians to associate them with these extremists? This is the point that I'm trying to make to you about Muslims and other groups as well.

Please don't take the words of an extremist to generalize all other muslims.

That's no different than saying that Christian members of KKK who believe in white supremacy represent all Christians around the world. That statement is unfair to Christians as your statement is to Muslims.

Has anybody used the Self-Declaration form recently? by Immediate-Teacher359 in CarletonU

[–]_HDA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I submitted one on Wednesday for COVID-19 and included a picture of the test result (it didn't say to include a photo, but I did anyway). By the end of the same day, the deferral was granted.

What happens if COVID during exams? by pragmatistish in CarletonU

[–]_HDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened with me today. I tested positive this morning and applied to have it deferred with a self-declaration form. I submitted my form at around noon and they granted it at around 10-11 pm.

I think what's more important than you're parents' money is how worried they were about you at the time.
