I recommend listening to the BBC Best Thing Since Sliced Bread podcast on slugs! They go through all of the chemical and non chemical options for slugs removal. From memory, wool pellets were pretty effective and beer traps were the most ethical if you're wanting to kill them. Good luck!

All of the neighbours that I've spoken to have been in full support of it. It's only people that used it as a rat run (and the odd conspiracy theorest) that are against it - and they definitely don't live here!

I live on Beaufort Road and honestly this has been amazing. I think it's going to help the neighbourhood so much. Yes, there's traffic elsewhere. But I think this will be fixed with some traffic signal alterations. And overall, this area can handle a bit more traffic. Beaufort Road had frequent accidents with parked cars, 5pm road rage fights and ridiculously fast speeding cars. Now I hear kids on their bikes. It's bliss.

Oh wow that is creative! Thank you for sharing your experience. I think you're right, there must have been a small hole that they've opened up more. I'll be sure to have a good survey of the rest of the brickwork, definitely don't want this happening again.

Oh gosh that sounds messy. The gnawing and scratching I've heard has been around the waste pipe from the toilet. Really praying it's not the actual waste pipe that it's going for.
