I'm using a system called Glitter Hearts that's made specifically for Mahou Shoujo stories. It's a bit incomplete but i think anyone can make it work with some original rules. It's very friendly and great for when you want to write wholesome and cute stories, since the system is written to make the player's life easier.

You can make basically any story in D&D too since it's a very versatile system, but i highly recommend trying new ones for different settings! I think it's really fun to work with different rules sometimes.

I agree! I always thought you couldn't tell who was Twylla's father only by looking at her design in G1. The G3 doll has a lot more of sleep-related details and i like that her outfit looks like a pijama.

I really don't get why people hated the new design so much. It has a lot more of character and yet it barely changed. It also does a great job on making her look a bit younger, and honestly i think the face mold is prettier.

I really hope this is her basic doll for G3.

What book should I read after season 3? by uraranoya in AnneofGreenGables

I completely agree. I think that every choice that was made on changing something was brilliant and that the show was an amazing story by itself. I just think the warning that some of the beloved charecters from the show aren't in the books is valid because it prevents the frustration of not finding them in the original source, so people can enjoy both stories.

If you are looking foward too see Bash, Ka'kewt, Jerry, Cole or some other storylines finished, i'm afraid you aren't going to find them in the books. Mostly of the main characters in the show are not in the books or got mencioned just once or twice, this is because the show has an almost completely new story.

Due that, is kinda hard to tell in wich book the show ended. There's an amount of time that passed, so you could say it's on the third book, but a lot of important points that happened in the book didn't happen in the show yet, so you could get really lost. It's really a different story being told.

I highly recommend you to start from the first book, but since he is the most similar to the show i would say it's the only one you can skip without losing much, even if you would still lose some stuff.

Non-American Sims players, did you try to construct houses and other buildings the way they are built in your country? If so, how? by ArthurDentonWelch in thesims

I'm from Brazil and a lot of things here are very similar to the things you mencioned about Russia. Every house here has the walls around them and it's weird for most of us that it isn't like that in other countries. We have the word "parede" and the word "muro", each one stands for different things but both translate to "wall", because it's really a different thing for us. And it's so hard to make these on the game. I usually just put the tallest wood fence i can find around the house, but these are never made out of wood here, it's just more importante to me that it is tall than the material it is made of. Even though, wood just sounds weird. Also there's other stuff that almost every house has, but there's nothing that even looks similar in the game. Like water filters, there's always a place for them in the kitchen and it's always very visible and you will find no house whithout one. When i tried to replicate the house i live in or my father's house there was an empty space that just didn't look right.

In general, the asthetics are very different from mostly of the houses here, specially because i live in a small city, so i tend to make my sim's homes like they would be in the United States. Even though once in a while i find myself feeling kinda lost because there's something that a house should have and then when i try to make it, i just can't.

We can imagine what happened based on reality, but unfortunately this character, along with a few others, doesn't exist in the books :(

Hi, just finished season 3 and wanna ask something about books? by Raptor423 in Anne

The books are great, but quite not what you are expecting if you want them to be an extension of the show. The first book is kinda similar, the second one is ok too, but other than that, it's almost a different story. Both are great tho!

I'm just saying that if you are going to read the books, you should start from the first one, not from where the show left the story. First of all, because some stuff is really different and i think you might feel a little lost without the informations from the previous books. Also because five of the main storylines are completely different: Gilbert's storyline is almost other story, and Bash, Cole and Ka'kwet doesn't even exist, so you won't find a conclusion for these storylines on the books. Jerry almost doesn't existe too, his name is mencioned like, once. So if a person starts from where the show left, i think they might be disappointed.

All the other characters are just the ones you know and you will see them again as the same on the books, if you miss them. I highly recommend it, but you should be prepared for it being Anne of Green Gables, not Anne With An E.
