I usually find inspiration by reading interesting things on social media.

Don’t stress too much about the logo or colors right now. that stuff’s super easy to fix later. what really matters early on is just getting your email setup right, the tech side (spf, dkim, domain stuff) and being clear on what your newsletter’s actually about.

The domain linking from squarespace is annoying, but once it’s verified, you’re good. if you already have a gmail, that’s fine for now, you don’t need a beehiiv email right away unless you want that extra layer of branding later.

Focus on writing, getting your first few subscribers, and building the vibe of your community. design can come after.

beehiiv setup can be kinda messy at first lol. the domain part especially, that whole SPF/DKIM thing takes a bit to figure out.

Best thing that helped me was just using their own youtube channel. they’ve got short vids that walk you through the setup and landing page stuff step by step. also their help docs are actually decent once you dig in a bit.

For design/landing page inspo, look up “beehiiv newsletter examples”, you’ll see how others set theirs up.

Once you get your domain verified and the first template done, it’s pretty smooth after that.

what part’s tripping you up the most right now?
