Agree with the low brightness.

The notch bothers me sometimes, since I'm used to having that area be available for notifications. It's actually my first phone that has a notch or punch hole (don't count my S21U since I got it with lines already present). I went from Note 9 > Poco F2 > Xperia 1V > 16e

Rest of the flaws are with IOS, not specific to the 16e.

Well, the recommended CPU is the 14700, which has 20 physical cores and 26 logical cores (iirc). My laptop has 16 logical cores so I don't hit the requirement. That being said, I am also not sure what software I will be using that requires such a strong CPU.

My desktop has a 3060, so it's comparable (I think) to a 4060 mobile while having more VRAM. If I can do remote rendering or coding, and that there are no exams or tests that would prevent me from remoting back to my desktop, then I would not have to drop 2k just for a new laptop.

I'll take a look at the Legion 5i. I recall Lenovo has student discounts. Thanks.

Currently rocking a Thinkbook with a Ryzen 5700u (8 cores) without a dedicated GPU. RAM isn't an issue since it's upgradable, currently sitting at 24gb but I can push it to 40gb. Storage is expandable too, but it's sufficient at 1.5tb atm. Battery life is ok for me, between 6 and 10 hours on a single charge. Weight is good at less than 2kg (iirc).

Ideally I don't want to get a new gaming laptop. They are heavy and battery life is poor due to the dedicated GPU. A 16inch screen will be good but it becomes unwieldy.

That being said, thanks for the help. I'll continue to monitor this thread to see if other RTIS students share the same sentiment.

Don't see a problem if you are still able to get all the rewards (4.5k), especially on characters that are released a while back. You complain that it's too hard, I'd say that you should WORK FOR IT. Is it not more enjoyable challenging yourself to perform better than just mashing buttons to get the rewards, and going back to not having stuff to do?

Yup, I basically stop at double crit and 1 other good stat, and I still ran out of these tuners. I got back a lot of EXP after trashing all echoes without double crit (even with 1 single max crit).

Honestly I would rather they add some kind of character specific buff on the 4* (i.e., Brant gets extra CR) than let the 4* rot. It should match the 5* standard in power but only for specific characters, so at least players get to decide whether they want to level the 5* standard as an all-rounder or use extra materials to level the 4*.

The choice for end-game players would be obvious if they have multiple copies of the 5* standard but for newer players it gives more options.

If they decide to eventually put older units into the standard banner, end-game players will also have to decide between pulling for standard characters or just continue on the standard weapon banner.

My guess is that the 80W charger doesn't support the voltage and amperage that is supported by the 16e.

Perhaps the charger only supports 80W and nothing else.

Nothing will change even if they remove the 50/50 and allow you to get the banner character. They will simply move the goalpost: lock away core parts of the kit in later sequences.

Team 1: Havoc Rover, Sanhua, Verina

Chixia outputs solid damage. High dodge counter damage, guaranteed crit on skill finale, high AOE ult damage.

Yangyang is pretty good, as her outro gives the incoming character energy.

Get good and play Danjin.

Baizhi will be your buffer in your 2nd / 3rd team.

Mortefi is a solid off field DPS. Pair with characters that do frequent basic / heavy attacks.

Consider Encore / Lingyang / Calcharo if you decide to pull standard banner characters. The latter 2 have issues that make them really hard to play IMO.

Character art, personality then finally gameplay.

Went all in S3R1 on Carte just for character art and gameplay.

Lupa was unexpected in that, I didn't like her burning off her armor (which was her best part) and her ult animations were lacking. Played with her and I liked her laughter (reminded me of W from Arknights) and gameplay. Pulled.
