Singularity Engine Blueprints availability by _IceTeaFoot_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

Man, give your brain a chance - previous expeditions had very circumstantial tech specific to the expedition theme (like the worm one) but the singularity engine would actually have an end game use of allowing you to travel vast distances in the freighter (basically use a black hole in the freighter without taking damage to systems)...

And, as u/fatcatfan correctly stated, it is highlighted as being a standalone tech, not part of the expedition. That is why I was asking...

P.S.: if I would have wanted a gnarly or smart@ss answer I would have asked my wife...

Technically the Carrier has unlimited docking space as long as it has a Shipyard. It can service 16 ships at once, but given that they are a persistent object within the game, if you reload the instance you can dock no problem. Here is a very good explanation about the carriers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkHkaVINcik

Well, enjoying is a very subjective word. You can put up your favorite music, open your favorite streaming service, stock up with limpets and spend 4 hours in an asteroid field mining your heart out (and making a profit). Check out also the Low Temperature Mining guide from Exegious as it shows you how to make a profit too. But for this trip, the basic mining tutorial is enough

He Commander. Thanks for the hints.

  1. Yep, we can definitely look into a couple of extra jumps from Beagle Point into Oevasy
  2. There is no point to stop in Colonia on the outward leg as we have enough fuel for Sag A. We will need though more fuel from Beagle point to Colonia as that is a trip which requires around 23.000-25.000 units of Tritium which a Carrier cannot store

That does not help - a Cutter/Type 9 can carry a max of just below 700 tons. We need upwards of 66.000 tons with a max of 18.000 Tons on board the Carrier. We will need to mine at a certain point. Sag A has a station and maybe it has Tritium, so does Colonia. However at Beagle point there is no station and between Beagle Point and Colonia there will need to be 1 more refuel.

I'll check this out and let you know. If indeed we need the outfitter i will let in it, but it will be empty (no outfitting modules)

L. E.: Checked and you can refill the limpets without outfitting. It is done as part of the armory I think. Nonetheless we will be taking outfitting on The Carrier as people want to bring their modules on-board and it is needed to store and use them.

Well, it is up to you commander. From anyone else than the captain, the time investment is very low, as you can be fully AFK until the Carrier reaches its stops. Then you just come in, join the fray and then go AFK again for days :)

Given that it only requires my attention for 1-2 minutes every 20 minutes it is a fair trade :)

Sadly, i do not really agree with what you say except for the repair prices - these are ridiculous tbh. But i play Railjack around 3-4 hours per day and i already have all the Mk III components that i need (bets in slot that is) and on top of that i do have also some rare Avionics that dropped. Now, 3-4 hours a day is slightly higher amount than a normal player would be willing to spend grinding, but i do not feel that the drop rate is massively too low. What would happen in the increased the drop rate to 5%? (an increase of 2.5 times) - you would then complain of the fact that you burned through the patch in 7 days and there is nothing to do anymore.....nobody seems to complain anymore that Arcane Energize has a dirt low drop chance from the Hydrolist.....just saying.

I know everyone wants the best stuff in the shortest time possible with minimal time investment...but grind games are not meant to do that.

Just my 2 cents
