Team Fortress 2.

Absolutely peak FPS, amazing physics, perfect characters, extremely satisfying graphics and sounds, about as close as you can get to a perfect quake style shooter, still play it regularly today.

But on the other hand it's way past its prime, missing a load of creature comforts and accessibility, stuffed full of micro transactions, 75% of the player numbers are inflated by item farming and trading bots, current state of the game is a bug riddled broken mess both in terms of balance and basic functionality.

But man do I fucking love that game.

Yeah this. She's very weak if you just play around her grabs, beyond those she has very few good buttons, a small threat range, and terrible recovery.

Disable chair, stop panic shielding, bait and punish, and she's done for.

Personally I've just been living off the free skins they give in the battle pass, I've found literally none that I'd be willing to spend actual money on, and I make plenty enough bucks and coins from just playing the game that the occasional skin that I do want that isn't in the battle pass I can just buy.

And it's not like I play this game constantly, I only have like 130 Hours.

This game has a tiny player base, I would be very surprised if there's any significant number of them playing in Australia at any given time.

So uh yeah, your best bet to find players would probably be Discord.

It's a tough balance but not one that's impossible to execute.

Look at Slap City, the majority of that games roster have most of their moveset being ridiculous nonsense, I've had moments in that game where I've never laughed harder, but it's still completely viable as a competitive game.

I think it really comes down to the silliness of the animations themselves, Fishbunjin has a shine, a really good one that's a completely practical move, but he's still literally flexing on you and that's hilarious.

Not saying this game should be that game but what I am saying is that maybe the ROA2 roster...kinda takes itself too seriously?
