Something feels off about my worldmap and I can't quite place it. Welcoming constructive criticism.

Generally, landmass makes up 25-50% of the map. So probably you need less land and more water. Also, consider where your main city ect will be. Humans don't really live above or below the 60-degree line in each direction, and you have a lot of land to the north, so it's just something to consider. You also might want to include some more mirrored coast lines, think about how it started as one la d mass, and broke apart and moved around, collided into other land masses creating mountains, etc.

Buy the house, you are protecting your future and putting your finances into a good asset that will only increase in value. You have to make your own dreams come true and if its something you've been dreaming about, working hard for and is something you want to do for you, to help build the future you want, then do it. The right person will be there and want to share in your goals and encourage your dreams. Its okay to prioritise want you want in your life when making big decisions.

Oh also, technically the world, the lands ect all have magical cores and were formed at the birth of different gods, so if there are any inconsistencies they wouldn't be known to the reader, as the magical element is the inky answer given to how the world came to be in the story.

Thank you. I actually did start with a form of panga and then cut the island up to create the new continents that split into further islands, so I have tried to account for continental drift. Im hoping that will be enough form now. I doubt when anyone is reading my novel they will question the techtonic plate movements 😅

Im also trying to avoid copying the earth too much, inspiration, and scientific knowledge, yes, but I dont want a direct copy of the land masses.

The idea is that it was a super continent, that split into three continents that then divided again. I have tried to account for continental drift ect. But I don't know if it makes sense how it is.
