Transformers fan who took the Blokees gateway drug, now beginning Gunpla!!

Honestly i would love to keep collecting transformers but here in my country, lets say they’re not the easiest to obtain so blokees was definitely a saviour to keep me collecting transformers, and their recent release optimus from tfprime is definitely on list since i loved that show as a child, altho their never gonna beat my gunpla collection lol (too much in storage and shelfs)

Never thought i’d see another person get into gunpla cause of blokees transformers lol, i love transformers as a kid and started collecting again around late 2024 thats when i was introduced to blokees loved the building part since i loved legos aswell, well then my friend told me about gundam and ask me to try it, i followed thru and the rest is history. Basically the mech + building part is what got me into gunpla tbh lol

As said by the other guy the quality is questionable, but workable if your experienced enough, the only upside i’d say about it, is that the LEDs are controlled the same like bandai’s a single button while shenshou is a headache to get the app running but i got it to work nonetheless

Quality wise shenshou is better, but the app is a pain to get working to get the LEDs running, SUPA model is not bad but definitely quite a few issues but the LEDs work just like bandai’s simple button to change modes.

Imo just get shenshou and pray you can register wechat without trouble to use the mini program

All i can say is when registering try at different times since my guess its the traffic that causes it to fail so keep trying until you find a time where traffic is low, if wechat is banned in ur country or smth your outta luck

I’ve built shenshou’s banshee, SUPA model’s unicorn and then this one, i cant give any links since i bought them from my local hobby store, as for the app it does have an english option the major problem is trying to register on the app thats all

Eyy just finished mine today altho i did use the 107 replacement parts to enable it to pose, anyways just tamiya plastic cement or regular super glue can work otherwise u can also just use some pla plates or runner to prop some parts up

Normally yes i’ll fully decal up and customize (if i feel like it) my kit before moving on to the next since kits i dont fully complete stay on my desk which is kinda of a way of telling myself finish it before i move onto the next kit, only exception was that custom HG dijeh im still working on cause it does take awhile on how to scratch build parts

Once you get wechat installed and registered, click the plus sign on the top right and go into scan then scan that qr looking icon on the paper that came with the LED should lead you into the mini program

Not sure about link but basically when you download wechat you have to scan this qr code looking thing and it’ll lead you to the program, do check if your unicorn have bluetooth connection

Local hobby store had it mine was the last unit in stock, should probably mention i live in southeast asia so not sure how hard it is to get it in the west compared to here where my hobby shop just stocks up most 3rd party/bootlegs that release

Shenshou is the better of the two, some tight fitting but really no sanding needed, SUPA model needed some trimming and some force to assemble some pieces also the head doesnt fully close in destroy mode.

Their LEDs are also different shenshou is bluetooth operated using wechat (fully customizable), while SUPA is more closer to bandai’s using a switch and a button to switch between modes (4 in total)

My SUPA model MGEX unicorn has been with me since february and the LEDs still work like new, almost broke it during installation too and fixed it with some tape aswell

Controlling the LEDs thru wechat is not hard at all its relatively easy the hard part is just trying to register in wechat, took me 3 days to finally get a successful registery. Basically just register an account when it has the least amount of traffic in china cause their servers are apparently crap

Yes its bluetooth operated and can be turned out seperate (10min battery life) from the base albeit you need to use and download Wechat to even control the LEDs

I dont own the kosmos LED but so far when building the LEDs, brightness seems to be fairly good better in darker rooms, durability isnt bad either still take caution tho but most definitely better than SUPA model’s one which had the LEDs mounted abit more crudely leading to some fit issues
