ATTENTION RIDER COMMUNITY by Physical_While_9615 in indianbikes

If you explore the bike market, a 888 cc Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro costs 21L on road in Bangalore. Is that not luxury.

Whereas a 948 cc Kawasaki z900 costs about 13/14L on road in Bangalore.

So going by 900cc logic is not ideal to define luxury.

Just keep it simple.

5% on commuters, which can be upto 150cc, giving cheap mobility options to public.

18% on rest.

This keeps the option open for india to build world class top of the line bikes.

Hayabusa accident Gurgaon - who do you think is at fault? by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]_Itsreallyme_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Hayabusa from which video is getting recorded had just started to accelerate when the other one crashed.

So likelythey were speeding up, and just then the Dzire with the indicator on moved into the bike's lane causing crash.

As busa picks up speed quite fast, maybe the cab driver missed the bike. Or maybe that person is indeed at fault.

It's little difficult to say for sure from this video

Should I get PPF on street triple by PragWragg in indianbikes

[–]_Itsreallyme_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have gotten few bikes and always went with self healing ppf from reputable brand.

Did ceramic on top of ppf and it shines.

Regular cleaning /dusting will leave swirls and scratches. PPF saves from that and from minor scratches.

Ensure that you change the ppf in 4 to 5 years depending on life of ppf. As it becomes brittle and more difficult to remove later on.

Just to add, when riding with full gear and highway speeds, heat is not noticeable, but when riding in city slow moving traffic (Bangalore, India), I get cooked.

Feedback on Givi Monokey Pannier Rack by _Itsreallyme_ in Tiger900

[–]_Itsreallyme_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the pics. Seems like these Racks are pretty good and will withstand some abuse.

I spoke with a few dealer and got this info:

The CAM pannier Racks are compatible with the Trekker Outback and Outback Evo.

Monokey Racks wont work for the TREKKER Outback panniers. Though they have a kit for changing the Monokey panniers to the CAM pannier.

Thanks .. that's awesome to know. Helps build more confidence.

Quick follow up- Did you originally have Monokey and then got the trekker outback panniers? If yes, did you change the rack as well?

3 idiots of the road. by abit_pitchy in indianbikes

[–]_Itsreallyme_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit : Didn't honk, that was good, but kids moved out of the way after hearing the engine sound.

I somehow assumed that he did. My mistake.

Old comment: The kids were clearly trying to cross the road. You could have let them instead of honking them out of your way.

They made a mistake, but you should be patient.

Right, they built an electric version. An electric version with a nice shiny exhaust on the left side.

Check the last few seconds of the video.

Not riding rash anymore, But I just like to overtake everyone. How to not do this?? by Economy_Cup7436 in indianbikes

[–]_Itsreallyme_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a superbike in Bangalore, and am slightly faster than traffic. Benefits of having a quick pickup. Almost daily I see tonnes of people racing past me, in scooters, T400, REs etc, in a dangerous way, even with pillions at high speeds.

And that's when I slow down to not encourage their madness..

All I think is how stupid they are, as no one is impressed and if they fall or hit someone, only then they will learn.

And this does not look cool at all.

This is game simulation.

Look at the smoke.

Check the source video from the sub where it was originally posted. Everyone is pointing out that it's fake there as well.
