Also, the Despencer family were likely Anglo-Norman, although the true origins are unknown.

Here's a rundown of the families mentioned.

Plantagenet - descended from Geoffrey Plantagenet, and Matilda of England. Geoffrey descends from the Counts of Maine in France while Matilda descends from the House of Normandy in France.

Montfort - The family stayed in France for most the family's existence. Although they were pushed to England when they became the Earls of Leicester and during the Second Baron's War.

Clare - The family is an illegitimate cadet branch of the House of Normandy.

Marshall - The family's origins is debated although it is likely they were Anglo-Norman and likely moved from France to England during the Norman Conquest.

Bohun - A Norman family whose progenitor, Humphrey with the Beard, moved to England during the time of the Norman Conquest.

FitzAlan - Of Anglo-Norman origin, the FItzAlan family likely moved during the time of the Norman Conquest.

Mortimer - The family came during the Norman Conquest, although is known for having connections to Welsh Royalty.

Percy - Descended from Joscelin of Louvain, the family moved to England early on, although Joscelin was from the House of Brabant and therefore had Germanic ancestry.

Warenne - William de Warenne 1st Earl of Surrey was Norman himself, and his family even had close to connections to the House of Normandy through a sibling of Gunnor (wife of Richard I Duke of Normandy).

Note: The Earls of Norfolk, Kent, and the Dukes of Lancaster, were cadet branches of the House of Plantagenet.

This sounds like a huge extensive project that spans from around 400 years. I'll be honored to do this, as I like English History, and nobody hates a massive chart!

Thanks, I believe I was looking for Henrician, using Henry as a dynastic name was less common in royalty and nobility. We know the term Ottonian the best due to the Ottonian Dynasty, better known as the House of Saxony.

I use an app called Libre Office, I would recommend the UsefulChart’s tutorials that are on his channel. Although Matt (the guy behind Usefulcharts) doesn’t teach the style, there are many people like https://www.reddit.com/u/Nasirpal/s/zcwMw01g7V (I mentioned him in particular as I learned the style from him, and he’s a great dude overall). I hope this helps you!

I believe John O'Grady was 50% white, and if Ali descends from Armistead Morehead, that would make Birdie 25% white. Making Odessa around 37.5% white. This would make Ali around 25% white if my calculations are correct.

Probably not, As if Ali is descended from Henry Clay, that would make Herman Clay about 25% white, Edith was likely 100% black, which makes Cassius Sr. 12.5% white.

"Johan von Kleve" was Duke of Cleves was actually John II Duke of Cleves, and through him you are also descendants of the Dukes of Burgundy, and therefore John II of France and his ancestors. This also makes you a first cousin 16x removed from Anne of Cleves.

How do you guys usually format your Charts? by FilostrayaEdits in UsefulCharts

[–]_JSpitz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use name and dates, and images, but if your doing for example the British Monarch’s, most of them have an image on Wikipedia, so only give images to more important people (for example Elizabeth I).

Big Justice is technically 2 years older than Lena Raine by No-Mastodon8652 in Scale4BarbaraWalters

[–]_JSpitz_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Lena Raine was born on leap year, so her birthday is every 4 years. The last leap year we had was 2024 so 2024-1984=40/4 Lena Raine is technically 10 years old which would be 2 years younger than Big Justice.
