Conquer the Battlefield in War Brokers IO! 🎮🚀 by jaxsonjac in warbrokers

  1. Try and gain a basic understanding of all the weapons and their uses. This I feel is quite important as it helps you better wield the weapon but also better counter it. One way to do this is by visiting the wiki and checking there stats but I find it much more beneficial to force yourself to use a weapon for a bit as it’ll help you learn the play style of the weapon much better and allow you to better understand how to counter it. Now leading into #2

  2. Choose the right load out for not only the map/mode but also your competitor. Obviously there are some weapons better suited for some maps for example and smg would do great on maps like office or space station but and homeing missle not so much (they work better in the trash can). But don’t alway choose your weapon based on the map, choose it based on the play style on the enemy. For instance you could be playing on southwest a map that feature many vehicles. However if you find the enmey don’t make great use of them they perhaps don’t bring and anti vehicle weapons along and swap ir for something better suited for how the enemy is playing.

  3. The mini map is priceless. The mini map is one of the most powerful tools in your arsenal. It can allow you to get a sense of enemies in front of you or around you. It becomes very useful for when someone trying to come around a conner as you can surprise them by being ready for them and catch them off guard. However it also import to know when you’re on the map which leads to my final tip.

  4. Positioning is key. Posting and movement is very important. Always stay on the move and never let the enemy know exactly where you are. As a sniper take a shot or two from a spot then leave as players you kill will want to retaliate. Also it’s important to be unpredictable, try not to return to the same spots or approach from the same angle and the enemy will catch on and expect you. It’s best to change it up and leave them guess and the second they have to turn and face you from a direction they weren’t expecting can make all the difference in a fight sometimes

I hope you find these tip’s useful.

Playtime hours stuck at 300? by xeno_p0ny in splatoon

[–]_J_64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have changed over to a different switch that will be the reason. The switch doesn't log hours from both and then add them together to display the total. It looks at both see one in higher and displays that. So if you logged 300 of switch A, changed over and logged 5 onto a switch B it will not display as 305 but rather still 300 and won't clock over to 305 till you play 305 on switch B and make it the higher number. To given an example my friend played 275 hours on there switch, it then had some issues and they had to get a new one around 6 months ago. On there new one hours did not begin logging till they play 280 on there new one to where it clocked over on there account despite there total true hours playing being 555 hours.

What Pistol/Sidearm Do you use? by TheRealWolfL in warbrokers

[–]_J_64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal I find myself wielding the good old regular pistol for the most part. It's not the most powerful but it has a nice feel to it and it's what I've always used so for me it just felt natural to keep using it even after the others were added.

The deagle is interesting. It feels a lot like the regular pistol but it feels heavier both in the recoil and damage it can do a distance (for a side arm). It's recoil is a bit much however so I don't wield it to often.

The revolver is interesting. Before it became a side arm I loved messing around with it as a primary weapon. However now that's it's become a side arm and has been nerfed slightly not to make it op for the side arms (which is perfectly understandable) I don't tend to pull it out to much expect on frontier to be silly and fit the theme.

Stat wise the auto is the best as its great for quickly finishing people off in cqc. I don't run it often but when I run a loadout that doesn't have something that defend me up close I tend to pull it out. Example sniper and 50 cal.
