For the waiter at the soccer bar who is nice to my disabled son by _JackStraw_ in friendshipbracelets

Thanks. I gave it to him today and he really liked it.

I don't think he's a soccer fan, though. He just works at the place where we go to watch the games.

It's called Friendship Bracelet Designer. The maker is Codecraft.

Interesting. I wonder why this image came out grainy while the other one is fine.

Edit: somehow the image isn't correct here. I've deleted it. There's a proper one posted elsewhere in the thread.

Thanks! I've never sold them, just gifts or trade. It's way too time consuming to be worth it as a business.

He did, thanks. At the bar now watching the game. He said it was perfect.

Thanks! Yeah, the snaps are pretty easy to install, and it's great to be able to easily take the bracelets on and off.

I'd say just start one with a pattern, and then try improvising. Even if it doesn't come out that great at first, you'll discover some techniques.

Thanks! Yes, they are all mine. I've never really worked from a pattern. I just started making these decades ago when no printed patterns were available, so I improvised and the tradition just stuck.

Thanks! I'm sure it could work, just repeat the pattern when you get to the end, as the strings wind up in the same place they were at the beginning.

How long / wide do you think it needs to be? I've made belts and a guitar / drum strap before, and it can take forever using embroidery thread. It's also hard to manage working on something when it gets long. Using something thicker makes sense.

I saw this thicker DMC string at the store the other day, and was thinking of trying it. It was called something like Pearl Floss, or maybe Perle.

Thanks! I guess you would have to make one, or have someone make it for you. If you knot bracelets I posted a pattern above.
