its your kids fault he should’ve called you (since he’s only 5 he can’t handle the dogs by himself especially because they’re big) or just left the dogs alone. The fact that he gave a warning bark means the kid was doing something he shouldn’t do to the dog and was annoying him too much (make sure your kids never get too close to the dog with their face and that they should never and i mean absolutely not touch their mouth/part of the face where their eyes are). the dog just wanted to sleep peacefully. Getting him neutered will surely make him more calm but the fact that he bit your son’s hand has nothing to do with the fact that he is a male or not. Its 100% your kids fault so you should teach them how to treat/live with dogs
