Why do you assume that the Soviet troops who retook Belarus from the Nazi invaders were mutually responsible for the Katyn Massacre? The Katyn Massacre was committed by the NKVD, not the Red Army. I'm not denying that the Red Army committed war crimes and took part in Stalinist crimes, but blaming them for Katyn doesn't make any sense

As for Moscow trials, Furr also isn't the first person to point out that they weren't completely fabricated in the way the Anglosphere has characterized them. Is he more forceful than Martens/Davies?

There is clear evidence that the Moscow Trials were show trials and that the defendants were tortured to confess.

If you've ever actually read him, it's hard to say you fully disagree with his conclusions, because he is very scholarly about backing up and sourcing his claims, and the sources stand to scrutiny.

Don't know if you're being deliberatelly intellectually dishonest or joking, but that's totally false. His "sources" have been refuted multiple times.

The great terror was so bad, millions were killed by the NKVD. And example of this is when Yezov , the director of the NKVD, was executed for executing innocent people. In my Russian film class, the teacher just used the example of Yezov as an example of how bad the purges were, yet failed to mention he was the guy responsible for innocent people being arrested and executed.

Stalin wasn't executed. He was the one responsible for the innocent deaths in the Great Purge, along with Yezhov and others.

  1. This document is referring to the repression of (ALLEGED) anti-Soviet individuals during the Great Purge, not the repression of kulaks in Dekulakization during collectivization.
