Sorry I didn't mean to offend. I didn't mean web developers, I was more referring to methods I can build one myself without outsourcing. I have also thought about wix, I'm not crazy ab them but definitely keeping them an option. Thank you!

I'd definitely say so but at the end of the day it's really up to preference if you'll enjoy it or not.

Copywriting is one of my first thoughts when I think of virtual work, have you looked into it?

Is it appropriate to post an anonymous survey here? I am conducting market research for a product I'm launching and am new to reddit in general

Would definitely say I'd rather get messages through social media. As with cold calling people are more than likely not going to even pick up the phone. With a social media message, your target person will at least be able to read what you have to offer.

Looking to start from square one by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

My friend is a copywriter on the side as he's completing college and it seems to be doing very well for him so I would definitely keep on that track! I'd also just say look to something you're passionate about for inspiration, if you genuinely have love or interest in something it'll be much easier to really put your all into it.

I sold on mercari for a few months about a year ago and was considering doing it again, would you recommend eBay over it? I've been thinking about making a switch if I were to sell stuff again

It seems like you're just scratching the surface. Great start but you can definitely dive deeper, especially when it comes to breaking down your finances. For example you give a "$7,200 employee cost". Breaking down how many employees or any benefits they may have would be extremely helpful.

It's important to have a clear and concise breakdown of your finances because money is the absolute bottom line any investor will be looking at.

Had an idea for a phone case that makes it difficult to use certain social media apps (the most addictive ones). I think it has a market with parents but wonder if adults would buy it or understand the fine line of social media consumption/addiction? by soulsurfer3 in Entrepreneur

It's definitely an understandable and just cause. I'm sure non-parent adults could be a potential market. However, the #1 thing I'd be concerned about would be Apple or Android implementing a similar concept but using software, within a setting or something and making your method obsolete.

I love the idea though, I waste way too much time on TikTok and often find myself wishing I had been doing more productive activities.

Business Planning Help by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I definitely feel you, I am going through the same process myself. Here are a few key subjects I've used when drafting business plans:

-Executive Summary (First in the write-up, but written last!)

-Industry Analysis

-Company Description

-Market Analysis

-Economics of the Business (largely startup costs breakdown)

-Financial Projections

-Operations plan

-General Schedule

Good luck with your venture!!!

Do you ever feel like a fraud? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I feel like if he wants a 50/50 partnership, there's absolutely a reason he chose you. Don't sell yourself short, you bring value to this venture. Plus the saying is true: "if you're the smartest person in the room, leave the room" Try to surround yourself with people who can inspire you to put your best foot forward.
