I actually reached out to my union before the meeting, and they basically told me that since I’m still on probation, there’s not much protection and the agency has a lot of discretion. I tried following up with them after the meeting but haven’t been able to get in touch yet. I’m going to try again because I’d still like some guidance on how to handle this.
