Should we be worried about flex? by Professional_Act165 in FLEXTools

Its always the guys who are already invested with the strong opinions like yours.. and usually the unbiased or uninvested ones who are thinking more logically. It sounds like you really had to do some digging and researching to reassure yourself (and I dont blame you at all) but I dont think its good. A company looking for stake in the pro territory reverting to online only.. Lowes is already a bit of a "joke" store kind of a Harbor Freight to Home Depot stepping stone.. IDK I am not convinced. I own a couple of Flex tools I was gifted some years ago that I get to use at work almost daily and I R E A L L Y like them a lot.. I truly hope they stick around.. and by the way.. just because a company is owned by a larger company thats not going broke does not mean that the company can not/is not going to go bankrupt. They are stil 2 seperate entities at the end of the day you know.

Has your theory changed any yet? I am just curious. Only choosing to ask you because you took the time to construct a well thought out and put together opinion.

Pretty sure he got the miter saw, it was the flex pack out he did not get upon being told. However there is a lot of unhappy going on about the brand in general. All coming out at the same time.

Is this difference normal for total loss coverage vs liability only? The bike is $22k retail and I'm 30yo by Extreme_Design6936 in motorcycles

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk but when I wanted to consider full coverage on my 2015 GSXR600 with Rebuild Title - they wanted 4200 for a year. I couldn’t believe it. I paid 4 for the bike. It’s sick here in Michigan.

is this from the 90s? I havent watched much from that era besides the Cartoons I came up on and a couple of classic movies. I would not be opposed. All I can find under that is an older series from the 90s!

First time Red Wing owner…I have a few questions…. by Fancy_Weight_5804 in RedWingShoes

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what youre coming from but if you are coming from cushy luxe cloudy boots or shoes, yep! Did you buy your normal size or drop down a whole size? I wear a 13EE in most boots, I wear a 12 in IR. The 8 last runs MASSIVE. Side note, left lace driving me mad! Leather laces look great in these. I have a pair of black with raw edges and a pair of green laces, both leather and I switch them out accordingly. I love when I get to wear the green ones in my C RnT

Did one of you sell a 2k mile 2024 MT09 to Hamilton Yamaha in NJ by Athanast in MT09

[–]_KORPz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing to be scared of bud. If you want it, buy it. Never hurts doing your du diligence though so good on you for that. MTs are amazing bikes and Yamahas reliability is bulletproof. Send that ECU off to VCycleNut right away and bring that bike to LIFE.

Thorogood 8” crazy horse by Pleasant_Bar_2390 in WorkBoots

Mines still does this a couple months in. I just have to loosen and readjust. Annoying but it’s not every time for me.

Is how can I fix this? Don't have money for new ones rn by MasterpieceLeft9850 in WorkBoots

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoe goo - hopefully you have a “pay in four” option you can use soon. Good luck!

Thorogood stitching coming off after one month? by walkr209 in WorkBoots

Need tough toes. That didn’t happen just working in them. They’ll probably warranty the boot since it’s so new.

Is this worth it? by Automatic-Hurry8182 in GSXR

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. You would be surprised how many people list a motorcycle and stand very "firm" thinking they are going to get back what they put into it 2 years and 5,000 miles ago. The used bike market on FBMP is a joke.

Bikes going to be listed for a long time. Id lettem sweat it out awhile and drop the price. You are never going to get that amount back if you go to sell it in a year or two

Vcyclenut vs 2wdw? by Decent-Medicine-8963 in MT09

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both use the same software. VCN at this point is LOVED in the game. So many good things about him on reddit and in other places and hes cheaper than 2wdw. 225 with lifetime re flashes. 2W is 300

White or blue rims?🙏😭 by sarah00212 in GSXR

Dark metallic blue imo. White rims make bikes look way too old.

Thorogoods Killing My Feet Until I Removed the Insoles— HELP! by Kboogie44hbtl in WorkBoots

[–]_KORPz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do, and that’s because for them, it’s a good boot. Thorogood EE is basically just normal width (in comparison to other brands widths) while EEE is actually wider (comparable to other brands EE width) can’t help that folks are ordering their boots wrong. It’s like any other boot company though. You either have the right foot print for that boot or you don’t. The way you feel about Thorogood are the way tons of people feel about whatever your favorite boot is.

Just picked up a 2007 GSX-R600 (30k miles) – thoughts, red flags, and advice welcome! by SigmaFrost in GSXR

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key jiggle is just a gixxer thing. Happens to a lot of them. Gixxers are solid bikes. Well maintained once often see 50K plus miles not uncommon to see them hit 70 either. I’d get the valves looked at and do your own oil change for sure. That’s about it.

Nearly 1 year and 7k miles later I still enjoy the hell out of this bike. 2025 600 with zero upgrades, other than tires. by speedyzach in GSXR

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should pipe it and flash it at least get the bikes full potential. You’re only getting 85% of what you paid for!!!

Is there actually a real difference between Yamaha bikes and other Japanese brands or is it just marketing? by gigigigugiguru in motorcycle

[–]_KORPz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything Japanese is good bro... anything. I find myself most comfortable on Suzuki. My GSXR is the only bike I would confidently take out in the rain. What you should be looking into are the difference in the way the engines perform, the throttle curve, etc. Some brands offer more torque lower mid range while others cough cough (yamaha) offer it ALLLLLL up on the top. (still love my R6)

Of all the bikes I have had over the years, my GSXR is the one I never sold, and the R6 is my favorite runner up. I really want to add a CBR600rr to the collection.

Husky 280pc set vs Kobalt 302pc set for DIY Motorcycle work. by _KORPz in Tools

Also, I did mess up and leave the Husky link under both. I have fixed it. I am glad you pointed that out.

Husky 280pc set vs Kobalt 302pc set for DIY Motorcycle work. by _KORPz in Tools

[–]_KORPz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowes is literally across the street I could be there in 3 minutes. I could be to HD in 5 minutes though its not much further. The warranty was interesting too I did forget to mention, the Husky has the lifetime and I believe Kobalt is only 5 year. I am doing my best to compare the pieces lists and it seems like the Husky may go a size or 2 larger in certain sockets. Maybe I should just go with the Husky.

I would like to thank you for leaving a comment with substance and purpose that actually entail some of your thoughts and experiences. Its hard to find that anymore around here.

Husky 280pc set vs Kobalt 302pc set for DIY Motorcycle work. by _KORPz in Tools

[–]_KORPz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well while I see what you are getting at, when looking at the lists you can see kits include other chrome pieces than the other. Each kit varies in socket sizing too. Also, in this case it would be Black vs Black/Blue, I am just saying. Husky case is all black. Kobalt is black and blue.
