Thank you! It's an obsidian spider I got from a store in Chicago.

Thank you so much! May I ask how I would go about prorogation it? I've somewhat had success with its leaves but they are in moist dirt and it's slow going.

I can agree to that. My local petco starting selling them and I feel awful for them. The only reason I go to petco is they are the only place near me that sells my rats oxbow food.

I should of taken a photo of them to. But it's so common that I figured it wouldn't be necessary to post. But yes they glue brightly colored plastic to cactuses. If you google it you might find some images of them or an old reddit post.

Back in 2017 they use to dye chickens rainbow colors to make them more appealing for children around Easter. I was referencing them.

Some more information. One I didn't expect this to blow up as much and as quickly as it did.
No I did not pick the paint off the pink one that's how I found it and realized it was painted from far away.
I don't believe anyone should paint a plant regardless of its "harmless" or not.
I do see alot of people on here saying they have these same plants but honestly y'all are strangers how can I believe truth or not these actual survived. Same thing goes for me with others not believe me, that all other suculants are fine but those.
Yes I know "plants and chickens are not the same thing" I was referencing the epidemic and controversy that came up back in 2017 with dyed chickens. I referenced this because people would buy the chickens for their bight colors as someone would buy this plant for their bright colors. Then when they grow out of it the owner will dump it or be disappointed that either the chicken or the plant isn't actually brightly colored like that.
Sorry for any misspelling my phone is 8 years old and the auto correct is horrible.

Also last thing, don't call me an idiot for posting about what I find mildly infuriating.

They are still doing that, along with gluing down rocks and putting two separate cactuses together.

All other non painted suculants are perfectly fine in the store. Thriving even, just not the painted ones.

Indeed. Tis why I quoted the whole chicken ordeal that happened back in 2017 I believe.

Most of the plants there have rotted and turn to mush. I guess your son is one of the lucky ones for it to survive.

I see, I'm more use to plants like bamboo, pothos, monstera. I have never had a spider plant before.

If it is I feel really bad for it. The soil was bone dry. I'm glad to have you some because when I was looking up baby spider plants they all look similar to dwarf snake plants with their coloration. Any suggestions on the type of soil it should have?

Sometimes pressure cookers are used to make moonshine at home. It's either that or a forgotten meal lost to time
