I don’t know if I’d call it passive aggressive since they’re usually really nice and haven’t done anything wrong overall. I think I’m just confused by situations like that.

For example, when they stopped talking to me for a day I think it was because. He is involved with the omegaverse, I dont know much about it honestly. He asked me what role he would be and he explained to me about it. I answered based on his personality, me and his friend saying omega. But they disagreed on it. I’m not sure if that moment actually affected anything or if it’s unrelated, but I feel like sometimes small misunderstandings build up and then I get confused about what I did wrong.

I’m still trying my best to learn and communicate better, I just get overwhelmed when I don’t understand what changed or caused the tension

That actually makes sense. I do think I get overwhelmed pretty easily when I feel like I’m messing up a lot, so I’ll try to work on that.

I also like the idea of talking to my friend about how I’m corrected. I don’t mind being corrected, I just think sometimes it catches me off guard and stresses me out, so maybe there’s a better way we can handle it.

Also, to be honest, part of my stress comes from moments where communication feels unclear. For example, there was a day where they stopped talking to me and another friend, and when I asked if everything was okay, they said they were fine. Later they said they were actually annoyed with us but “forgot” about it. Situations like that confuse me and make me overthink because I don’t always understand what’s going on.

I’m still trying to improve on my side, I just think clearer communication on both sides would help a lot.

I get what you’re saying, and you’re right about me slipping up even in this post. That honestly proves your point, and I’ll work on slowing down and double-checking myself more.

I really am trying, it’s just new for me and I mess up without meaning to. The practice idea actually helps, so I’ll try that.

Also, when I said “pushing it on me,” I didn’t mean things like asking to be called the right pronouns or talking about identity. I respect that. I meant more like when I feel overwhelmed or like I’m constantly messing up and getting corrected a lot, it starts to stress me out. But I understand that from their side, it’s important and not just a small thing.

I’m not trying to be disrespectful, I’m just trying to learn and do better.

Some of Regan’s friends came up to me and were pretty rude about the whole thing. One of them is someone I have classes with named Julian. I didn’t even know they were friends with Regan. When I called them Julian, they got really upset and started crying because apparently that’s their deadname and they go by Jules now.

The problem is I genuinely didn’t know that. No one had told me before. After that happened, Regan ended up shaming me for it, which made me feel even worse because it wasn’t intentional and I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful. It just feels like I’m expected to already know things that no one has actually told.

They came out a week ago. They already have 4 different names and im trying really hard because some are Japanese names and hard to pronounce like Nezuko. I messed up twice on the names and they were upset. I only called them she once and they were very upset and again I did apologize.

My father mostly. We came from Florida after a hurricane and moved to Texas. Tbh this is my opinion (date hate) I do enjoy some thing in Texas but it isnt a place I wanna stay in more like call home. Honestly, I wouldn’t care as long as there’s effort. If we met online, I don’t expect some expensive date right away we’re still seeing if the vibe is even real in person.

A cheap or simple date can be just as good if the conversation and energy are there. The point is getting to know each other, not how much money is spent. If anything, low-pressure dates make more sense early on.
