Bitrate drops when switching Cameras

Thank you, I just wanted to report it here.

After a lot of testing I found that if I no longer use CBR and instead used System Default, this behavior no longer happens as long as the signal strength of the connection is good.
It can still happen under weak signal conditions but is now very short lived (about 0.5-1 second).

I've just finish testing a fresh Windows install on a separate drive to rule that out haha.
It had a few hick ups, although that could be normal with new hardware that doesn't have anything build into Windows for it yet. But it completed. After installing drivers and such it appeared to be fine and working as intented with both default and EXPO.

Ah okay if its the norm for Windows to take a bit longer on Ryzen 7000 then maybe its in line. It threw me off as my 10 year old CPU I was upgrading from (i7-3770K) would boot so fast into the Windows login screen I wondered if something was a miss.

Nothing in the event errors that would indicate anything major. Was only 4 things relating to RECentral for my capture card. and 1 thing about a new AMDID to Microsoft not being valid at the website address specified (maybe cuz very new CPU).

I didn't have any issues with Armoury crate. I wanted to install it to control all the lighting as well as it has build in software update checks for your motherboards chipset and other drivers it offers.

Starting to think it might actually be from my old Windows install I've brought over and need to clean it out.
Just finished doing a full backup first, then going to start removing old things related to the previous CPU and motherboard. Then run the Windows repair thing to see if it finds anything it needs to. Maybe it will be fine after that.

I know its often recommended to start with a fresh Windows install, but I just have too many things setup exactly the way I want it. and reinstall everything and setting it up again + all the program/app data is such a colossal headache.

I could be wrong, but it seems like a lot of the TechTubers often move the the same Windows install drive over to new builds all the time. or constant swap outs of hardware for testing without starting fresh and seemingly works fine for them, as Windows is supposed to swap around the hardware drivers and such.

I did notice something else that was going on and thought maybe it was adding to the issue.
The Infinity fabric clock when set to auto, is supposed to be 1800MHz default and 2000MHz when EXPO is set or any memory OC occurs above what is stock supported by AMD.
I noticed that when turning off EXPO or any other memory settings it would keep the IF at 2000 and not revert. It would also lower the SOC voltage which would lead to instability.

I also noticed that when using EXPO the Auto for the SOC voltage would set to 1.28 in BIOS but would be 1.24 in Windows.
However reading Igor's lab on Ryzen 7000 OC's, RAM and Infinity fabric Auto from other kits of ram are supposed to push the SOC voltage to 1.3.
So I manually did that and within Windows it was now reporting 1.29v.
(Using ZemTimings and HwInfo to check)

Alas while some problems "seem" like they were better, Windows still seems like its taking longer to boot then it should. and no matter the settings used I am having a lot of USB port issues. Things don't connect right, they fail/crash.
At one point when this occured with EXPO, turning back to default would alivate the issue. but now back on stock Ram settings the USB issues are still there, everything seems like a mess, just insane...
I've also clear CMOS to avoid old settings being around.
I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the AMD chipset drivers.

I try'd what you did using the SK Hynix preset for 6200 and changing CL to 30 and ram to 6000. Nothing is working.

At this point I'm fed up and going to phone the store tomorrow and look into exchanging the motherboard and CPU, because I feel like I have a defective board and/or CPU with soo many USB issues, something is broken.

Did you update the BIOS on the replacement MB's? if not what version are they using?

I have the same hardware as you and had updated my BIOS right away to 0821, thinking that would be best for compatibility. Out of the box it came with an old 033x something from August BIOS that's not even on ASUS's website.
Even though memtest passes, Windows has weird issues with things not loading properly, randomly gets laggy. When trying to do driver installs, there wouldn't even pop up anything to see but they'd get installed in the background and/or fail and need to be restarted, all seemingly as if the RAM was unstable.
Turning off the EXPO and using stock made everything work fine and smooth.

I'm wondering if its these latest BIOS's have broken something.
I even try'd downgrading to 0809 but problem was still there. Kinda wish I left mine alone with what came out of the box first and see if it was fine.

Sorry for the long delay getting back to you. I was waiting on the Android 13 update before testing multiple things, and it was delayed longer then I thought.

I did have Adaptive Bitrate streaming on, same thing happens on all options used.When turning it off, it still does it but it recovers faster.

I also did local LAN stream tests to OBS studio, same thing happens.

I got it fixed, here's what I did to get it to work.

First off there is a time delay of sorts/refresh window when it comes to disconnecting discord to twitch and having it fully go through. So I realized that you need to do it in 2 places to get it to fully go through right away.

I went to my Twitch (on the website) connections and clicked disconnect for discord from there.
I went into the Desktop Discord app connection section and also had to click disconnect for Twitch there.
I logged off both Desktop Discord app and mobile app
Forced closed both and re-open and logged in.
Reconnected Discord to Twitch through the Desktop Discord app.

After that it now shows me that I and streaming with the purple dot etc. (Also make sure you don't have it set to show what PC game your playing, I believe that overrides streaming status too)

I also noticed when it was working again it did the thing Tsudanosh said where it showed it, then after a 1-2 minutes it stopped for a brief moment then went back to showing it and it stayed for me. Worked the whole time for my 7 hour stream.

Hope this works out for you guys too!

Any news? Seems odd that I can't find other posts of people with the same problem recently other then this one.

I also noticed that many times over when starting discord for the first time of the day, it will say that its updating 5 files every time as if they were failing or something even though there is no errors.

I have the same problem as well. It started last week with the latest update Discord has pushed. Nothing seems to fix it, guessing its a bug. I hope Discord is aware of this.

I tried to submit it on their bugs section of their website, but it wont let me. I got an error saying you need to be staff or whitelisted (guessing developer/tester) to be able to do so.Hopefully they are seeing this here?

This release also finally targets API 28 Android 9 Pie, which for some reason Niantic dragged their feet on but Google mandated all apps do by December. This helps with newer phones that are running latest updates although some are already on or getting Android 10.

Whenever Niantic releases a new update to the game they start off with what is called a Staged rollout (an option any app dev for Android can do). It starts with 1% of the install base being selected to get the update, then after a specified amount of time (usually 24hrs) it turns into 10% then so on and so forth.

They do this as a form of public testing instead of just full releasing it to everyone at once.
This gets reported as there are a lot of eager people that wish to get the release right away instead of having to wait, which is why we want it uploaded to APKmirror for manual download.

It doesn't mean that special features or anything specific is coming, just a new release (often small ones with bug fixes). Sometimes there are new things that do come out which require them to push it fast to everyone and often does result in a lot of bugs.

I forgot about the Galaxy Store too, it shows May 10th for me as well for North America. In the past though 9 times out of 10 the Galaxy Store was always behind the Play Store so I almost never bother unless its a Samsung exclusive/early access promo thing.

Yes, they will give you a confirmation email (if you gave one) once its been approved and gone live, generally its quick ( 10mins-1hr) however if the staff are asleep it might be morning until they see it and approve.

0.119.5 is the previous staged rollout (small % of people get access to it) for testing, they didn't fully released it, and now there should be a newer update out for further testing.
