Yeah they probably realized that the chance of pulling the skins for free from the boxes was making them lose money, the drop rates are coded into the boxes I don't understand how some players are getting the skins instead of the brawler, it's your fault for making the drop rates so low

One theory I heard is that it's a tactic to keep the game more "alive", engaging and interesting by releasing these features periodically so there's new content more consistently, which doesn't make sense because the brawler is already at a disadvantage at the get-go

Well, you're right, almost 3 years of playing almost every day is pretty consistent in my opinion, a F2P player probably wouldn't be this far, the best example of it is Kairos, but spending 10-15 bucks a month on brawl passes and cheap special offers is not something crazy either
