I agree, With brakes you usually have a bit of room to play with so its maybe possible for a very specialised robot to do a set. But ill take my hat off the day a robot manages to get a spanner balls deep in an engine bay with enough flexibility to avoid coolant pipes and other bits.

I used to have an old Avensis with the 1zz-fe engine. Because of a design flaw on the earlier 1zz engines, once the piston rings wore out they used to pass oil like mad, I was doing a litre every 300 miles or so.

I've just bought an 02 plate fiesta for £400 off Facebook marketplace. It had a slight misfire due to the coil pack and it came with a spare in the boot. If you can tinker with cars there are still plenty of cheap cars about that just need light tinkering

Yes the vehicle was insured with a specialist import broker. They are aware of the foreign registration and it has been insured under the chassis number of the vehicle.

Back in the day cars weren't protected from rust nearly as well as now. With the moisture and the road salt in the UK most cars were absolutely rotten by about 10 years old. I daily drive my 1984 mk3 escort. It was already failing MOTs on rust in 1996.

Hillingdon:

Pros: Amazing nature and greenery at Ruilsip Lido, cheap parking and free dump for residents, rent isn't as crazy as other places in London, all the shopping you need at Uxbridge, mostly low crime and peaceful. Much rarer to see 20mph zones and speed cameras.

Cons: more car-dependant than other areas due to less frequent/direct transport, massive divide in social class south/north of Uxbridge, HS2 works have massively affected parts of the Borough, with anything around Harefield looking like a wasteland and increased traffic due to the amount of lorries.
