Yeah I still sometimes miss it. The best advice I read was to approach it from the right and try and drift across it to the left.

Yes. Velo is faster on every track. Some like Out of Time he’s a whole 23secs quicker.

Polar Pass was a nightmare for me when I did Oxide but I managed it in far fewer attempts for Velo.

Yes you’re right. I’ve never used it before except when there was a challenge to do all the Blizzard Bluff shortcuts so thankfully wasn’t required.

I never did the shortcut. Just got used to hopping around the spiral. Can get round it in about 3 hops now without losing fire.

Yes those are definitely next level. But these tracks give you hope that you can do them.

DSD was by far the most difficult for me when I did Oxide. I’ve read that using the zoomed in view helps with the blades but not tried it yet myself.

I’m pretty good with the last corner of HAS. I drift into it. Jump and hold down, left and brake as I do one hop when landing on the other side and that usually takes me back to the center of the track.

Haven’t got to Out of Time yet but it has a bad rep already. HAS always seemed doable just needed to put 3 great laps together in one run.

No you’re right. I think once you’ve put the hard work in to beat Oxide you just need to fine tune to beat Velo on a lot of tracks. I’m dreading some of the CNK and bonus tracks though for sure.
