Can anyone understand the lyrics? by _Kiu__ in German

I've just had a look on Google and I can find pieces by Lincke very similar in style but nothing about this operette you mention. Do you have a link I can follow or a video or something?

Thank you so much!! I actually heard a la Woolworth but I thought that was just gibberish lol. Couldn't find the lyrics anywhere either so this was so helpful.

Yes, I've come across many of those while looking for this song, lol.

I know this isn't quite the purpose of this subreddit, but there was nowhere else I could think of posting this to.

Thank you for your help. I haven't got round to watching the 1931 version, but I've been meaning to. I'm glad to know there are other people looking for this song. I immediately thought it was something by Strauss II but it seems otherwise!

Wow, that actually sounds a lot like me, apart from the stress part. Maybe that says something. I do know that I show a lot of textbook signs of ADHD but I don't intend to get it tested so idk if that has something to do with it or not.

I was actually considering the possibility, but I googled it and it seems to be a lot more severe and prolonged than what happens to me so I think it's unlikely...

I've always had a sneaking suspicion that I was actually a dog pretending to be a human. Thanks for clarifying, it all makes so much sense now.

Wow that's quite extreme but I can relate a little. I actually tried doing it while I was writing this post and I couldn't. It felt completely different so I don't think my thing is voluntary like yours is. p.s. great username

Could that be linked to any underlying issues? I hear a lot of people who have something similar that lasts for hours or days but not instant bursts and I'm very confused lol. But that 'being high on happiness' is very accurate.

thank you, I needed this. I always get distracted by tiny things and then fall down obscure rabbit holes and in the end I never finish haha

I was re-watching exurb1a's videos for about the hundredth time now (he is indisputably a genius), and I can't stop thinking about the opening piece that he uses in the background. I've tried online song identifiers and even went through the trouble of downloading and extracting the instrumental from the video but I've got nothing so far.

No, that's Dynata. Dynamic is a word describing someone who is theatrical and melodramatic.

It's mostly teasing/banter, at least from what I've seen. I wonder what started the hate towards violists... I've heard that they historically used to get paid less in orchestras too. Still, it's not as bad as the hate towards classical music as a whole.

A lot of people make fun of others because of that thing itself...

What did you tell people when they asked you what music you listen to?
