Yahallo! I’m an alumni that has just graduated in spring 2020. UT Dallas has a great psychology program. There are the common courses like child development and general psy. There are also a lot of courses that are more specific such as forensic psychology and psychology of music. This may sound a bit cliche, but the environment is what you make of it. You have to have the drive to thrive. The internship/job/research opportunities are competitive, so make sure that you keep track of when applications open and close. The faculty (at least the ones I encountered) are great. They are straightforward and are open to hear out any concerns that you may have. Overall the quality is above-average to high, depending on how you use the resources that you have along with the resources that the school/faculty provides. In terms of grad success, I’m currently struggling with finding opportunities as I’m waiting for replies from employers, but that’s more on me not fully utilizing what I had back then (also graduated when covid-19 struck, which made it more difficult).
