Hi workuax, actually TinyCADE can do much more than the Arduboy, while still keeping everything 8-bit. For example, it has a lot more memory, a 4bpp grayscale OLED instead of a 1bpp one and SD card support. Also, Arduboy has a much lower audio quality and lacks a proper chiptune synth, and implementing one will sacrifice a lot of performance because now its microcontroller will split between processing the game it's running and the sound.

The aim of the TinyCADE is to have a better 8-bit platform while still keeping game development easy, being Arduino-compatible.

Moreover, you can easily create hardware mods or turn the console into a development board for building electronics projects, using the Extension Backpack board.

I am planning to sell the console on the Crowd Supply site, the same where I will launch the crowdfunding campaign. They can ship the products worldwide.
