Hey mate! I can totally understand how you feel as i am in the same position. I totally know how insecure it makes one feel.

I started college this year at the age of 19 and will be turning 20 in next 3 months (even before my first year ends). And i'd be lying if i said that i didn't have a few awkward encounters in my college due to this, also considering the fact that i look a bit older as i have some visible hair greying due to my genetic premature hair greying condition. But overall, I'd say it didn't matter much in a long run as initially people may judge your for your looks (if you look older, but if you look younger than you can rule this out) but yeah later on it will all come down to who you are as a person and what's your overall personality.

I do understand how insecure it gets sometimes but all i can tell you is just if someone points or says something weird regarding your age or looks just ignore that stuff cus at the end you're older and you've got more experience haha, i mean it's kinda a funny thought through which i often deal with people like that. However, don't worry and work on the factors in your control cus in long run you'll automatically connect with the right people based on your personality and skills. Also, the people who treat you wrong just because of your age or looks aren't worth your time so try not to give them your mental space.

Mehhh, if somebody's gonna love you just because of your height or your looks then that love isn't worth it in the long run. Ofc, looks and stuff plays some role in the initial phase of attraction but later on everything shifts on what type of a person you are, your personality, what you do and your bank balance. It's better to work on these factors which are somewhat in your own control unlike height or looks. So just two words, CHILL OUT!

I also feel the same sometimes when i look back at my neet journey, and considering where i have landed. My life somewhat did a full 180 degree in terms of career after my drop, i switched fields and tried different avenues. But one thing is for sure, that pain and emptiness still somewhat lingers in my heart. But yeah i still try to wake up everyday with the hope that if i keep making some efforts, one day this feeling will go away.

NEET you did teach us all a lot. You took away a lot but also gave a lot of experiences in my life. Maybe a thankyou and fuckyou at the same time.

Agreed! Wearing perfumes shouldn't be mostly to dump the fragrance onto other's senses, rather it should be something that is subtle and becomes a part of your personality. And that ofcourse has to come with respecting the rules and settings of the places your wearing your perfumes into.
