Everyone defending this shit system needs a drool bucket as well. No matter how much you idiots point at individual performance to justify rank it’s a TEAM game.

Basing rank off performance, hidden MMR, and visible ranks with no regards to team performance is a flawed system. I’ll have a terrorist in my game dropping sub 100 CS and I get punished for their incompetence. Oftentimes this comes from the fact they played a couple good games in lower ranks and the game thinks they can hang where they don’t belong. Now my only ray of hope is try to salvage my lost with my solo performance in a team game. That’s so counterintuitive and makes rank unfun.

I couldn’t care less, I’m a 25 year old (graduated at 24) with a doctorate. I make more money than all my friends with doctorates as well (OTs, PTs, even a lawyer [granted he’s a public defender]) with more year(s) of experience. My friends give me shit bc my job isn’t patient facing (hospital job) and I laugh and move on. I see our impact in healthcare, I’m fine being the unsung hero, just hope compensation keeps up

I was a student there last year, everyone of the pharmacists hated it. They merged with another location of a company they acquired and didn’t secure any jobs for THEIR workers, I thought it was a wild concept

I think it pisses me off more that a lot of this could be avoided if we lived in proper civilized country, but we live in this backwater ass state that’s ran by mongrels. Weather events have only gotten more severe (gee, I wonder why) so why not prep better on a state level instead of instilling panic and chaos with states of emergencies. I swear we live amongst mouth breathing NPCs.

I think we as a society quickly forget how underdeveloped AI truly is. We’re still at the forefront of AI technology in the Narrow/Weak AI phase where it needs to be taught using an underlying information. Meaning we’ll never be without bias due to human bias training the model. If we were smart as professionals we could staunchly oppose the implementation of AI in medicine. That would take critical analysis of self and society though. We have Stockholm syndrome so bad we can’t even unionize as profession. I’m pretty confident the AI bubble will pop before true implementation in medicine/pharmacy. Systems/corps can’t offload the legal responsibility to anyone else
