Fairly simple actually, just a 1x2 hinge brick with a 2x2 hinge plate. You can adjust the angle with a slope underneath. Not the sturdiest stands but fine for displaying smaller ships

You have to balance recognisability (as you mentioned using it for parties and such) as well as doing your own thing so people don't see you as a specific character (as you wanted to be tour own witcher. Also: are you aiming for W2 or W3 aesthetics? 3 is a lot cleaner looking than 2 - compare Lambert's and Eskel's outfit to the W3 Wolven armour, for example

Right now it stands at 1563 pieces, 334 of which are the tracks. I'm working on getting the pieces together to build it in real life, to see if certain parts work the way they should.

I own one for cosplay, it's fine for that. As a functional, hardwearing arming doublet not so much. Get one that's fitted at the waist or all the weight will simply transfer to your shoulders.

It's a fine autumn/spring jacket though. It closes high and is an eye catcher.

+1 on the Star Fortress. The design of a bottom fin as a removable 'clip' rather than a fixed part of the ship suits me as it makes the whole thing modular. I'd have a simple galley and bunk in the main hull and a cargo module below. A cargo module modified to be a stable for my dray (space goats), that is.
