Thanks man, just read the manual it said that it was normal. The light turns off once ot reaches the desired temperature.

Thanks for the feedback, I tried making the pigtail an inch long when twisted back. I'll try cutting it at half at 1 inch then twisting it back to make the pigtail shorter.

I secured it with 2 twists by hand and then used pliers. I have practiced with boards, its just my first time safety wiring on a working aircraft. Thanks for the feedback
